A lot of folks can't understand how we came to have an oil
shortage here in our country.
~~~
Well, there's a very simple answer.
~~~
Nobody bothered to check the oil.
~~~
We just didn't know we were getting low.
~~~
The reason for that is purely geographical.
~~~
Our OIL is located in:
~~~
ALASKA
~~~
California
~~~
Coastal Florida
~~~
Coastal Louisiana
~~~
Coastal Alabama
~~~~
Coastal Mississippi
~~~~
Coastal Texas
~~~
North Dakota
~~~
Wyoming
~~~
Colorado
~~~
Kansas
~~~
Oklahoma
~~~
Pennsylvania
~~~
And Texas
~~~

Our  dipstick is located in the White House!

~~~
Any Questions?
NO? Didn't think So.
It's not a geographical issue, if you think that the oil shortage is caused by the stupid White House policy. But do you have any suggestions? Or just treat it as a joke here.
But can't you just important oil from the middle east? Saudi Arabia is happy to export oil. It doesn't sound so bad if you just trade for the things you need. There are other sectors where USA is heavily exporting. I wouldn't worry so much about. Better technology in the future will change everything, specially with the electric car rise.
The demand for crude oil in the world market has decreased during the corona virus and that has made the middle east countries which have survived on the oil economy think but now the country is also planning to maintain its position in new markets as demand for crude oil in the west declines. That is why they want to strengthen their position in countries like india and china america is still optimistic about the global oil market of population growth, the demand for oil in the world market will increase the market is not expected to collapse very soon.
This has aged well Smiley. Below is a relevant article.
The Biden administrator controllers want to shut down our energy independence gains so they can cripple domestic manufacturing with higher costs leading to the outsourcing we seen under Obama.
Not only will oil show a shortage, but there will also be an imbalance of existence in all consumer goods.
It is a problem that gave rise to the pandemic because it altered the rhythm of the flow of international trade and consequently it is logical to think that the demand of the countries increases at the same time and the ports and all the transport routes by air, sea and land do not they are enough to serve everyone.
Freight prices increase as do products and we will see inflation.
When inventories run out, a shortage occurs, experts predict that this situation could improve in two years because we have not yet returned to normality 100%.
the world knew about a coal and oil shortage ever since the 1980's
its why america suddenly became interested in the middle east (first gulf war)
its why the fossil fuel companies know their time is running out and are willing to shout "carbon is bad" so that they can get lots of environmental grants to diversify to renewables without losing profit.
..
part of politics is not to shout out publicly of the extent of the oil run-out timescale. because "america number one" politicians want to keep promoting that america is naturally rich(its not). so thats why politicians wont shout out how natural resource poor america is. nor do they want to really explain why they are invading other countries
I DO NOT TRADE OR ACT AS ESCROW ON THIS FORUM EVER.
Please do your own research & respect what is written here as both opinion & information gleaned from experience. many people replying with insults but no on-topic content substance, automatically are 'facepalmed' and yawned at
There is essentially no end to fossil fuels. What there is a near end to, comes in two parts:
1. Easily accessible fossil fuels;
2. Freedom to access fossil fuels without government interference and regulation.
