We learn Bitcoin on bitcointalk every day, we are actually making progress through communication and slowly establishing our own knowledge system. Due to difference in knowledge, cognition, background, experience, education, industry participation, etc., each of us feels Bitcoin in a divergent manner.

  • Some of us regard Bitcoin as a technology and blockchain emerged based on Bitcoin;
  • some deem it as a currency for payment in economic life;
  • some treat it as an asset for storage to lift the amount of wealth;
  • some think it a speculation to make money in a fast way.

But in my opinion, Bitcoin is a new civilization, leading mankind to evolve from a low-level civilization to a high-level one, that is what I called "Bit Civilization", the focus of most of my recent articles.

Today I will talk about in detail the relationship between Bitcoin and human civilization, especially some basic knowledge with respect to human civilization.

As I see it, we should learn Bitcoin from the perspective of the entire human civilization, and perceive it with a relatively objective attitude. Only in this way can we truly understand what Bitcoin is and what value it brings to us.

The entire human civilization means not just the current one, but also in the past and future. We need to equate Bitcoin with the evolution of the entire human civilization to see the greatness of Satoshi’s invention.

At present, no single individual, organization or sovereign nation can hinder Bitcoin's explosive development. It has become a trend that is irresistible. Comparing the entire human society as a whole and the evolution of it to a slowly flowing river, the emergence of Bitcoin is an important node in the long history of human civilization.

When Bitcoin was born, human civilization began to accelerate evolution, from centralization to decentralization, from the governance of human nature to the governance of protocols, from corrupt governance to transparent governance. Bitcoin is ushering us to a fairer, freer, and opener society, and the value of each of our human beings will be treasured and liberated.

Do you agree with me?

From a technical point of view, Bitcoin's blockchain technology will benefit the Internet industry and other industries that require a lot of calculation and revenue. Blockchain technology may also become one of the basic technologies of artificial intelligence in the future.

From the perspective of world finance, the liberal currency characteristics of Bitcoin will help the reconstruction of the future monetary system and have a huge impact on the international monetary system.

However, Bitcoin did not solve the corruption problem. It's just that technologies such as blockchain smart contracts provide a means to reduce supervision.

It seems like you are confusing two separate concepts; Bitcoin and the Blockchain. Bitcoin runs on the block chain technology, but so does so many other currencies and protocols.
Bitcoin as a currency cannot provide transparency in governance or stop corruption, it's just a decentralized currency which is immutable, borderless and irreversible. It allows one the freedom to separate their finances from the government but cannot directly change government affairs.

For the first time mankind used technology to ensure the inviolability of private property

In the Bitcoin world, the private key is the full authority to control the asset, and only those who have the private key can spend the Bitcoin in this account. In this world, there is no customer service. If you accidentally lose your private key, no one can use these bitcoin assets, which is equivalent to disappearing forever. There is no function like "provide ID card and retrieve password".

It cannot stop corruption but it can be more transparent in showing that there is corruption. If the Blockchain was implemented into other areas except for currencies then it could be used for tamper proofing and making corruption easily to spot. Right now most government owned sectors are not operating transparently and news only comes out about abuse when they want it too.

Thank you for your wonderful questions. What I want to express here is that Bitcoin not only represents itself, but more importantly, the ideas behind Bitcoin, decentralization, transparency, equality, freedom, openness, and so on. When more and more people accept this kind of thinking, it will guide us to transform this society and create a whole new human civilization step by step.

There is no question that Bitcoin and its underlying technology is now making good progress and though it is not yet so clear for now the many contributions that it can share with the next generation as we are still dealing with the weakness of human nature, I would say that within the span of a little more than 10 years, it has been hailed as a great invention that is worth mentioning and recognizing. Many opposing voices in the past years are now converts to Bitcoin so there must be something with it that is really worth more than gold. Now, I am always excited to hear news of Bitcoin adoption from countries under economic distress and political oppression but what I am waiting for will be the leaked news that in China people are still into Bitcoin even if the government is exerting almost complete control on the people and what they are doing...do you think that can be coming?

Due to different regulations bitcoin probably won't remain like that. People who rule the world don't want to change their minds, instead they want to change bitcoin in a way it can fit the system without damaging their own power and influence. Bitcoin could lead human civilization to a higher level if people were awake and willing for that. However, the reality is that humanity is composed by a bunch of sheep which blindy follow the rulers' orders. The few who really want freedom, transparency, fair opportunities are suffocated by the sheep's bleat just like it happened in Orwell's Animal Farm masterpiece.

in a financial context it is true and I agree that until now nothing has been able to hinder the development of Bitcoin, but over time most countries will not be able to allow bitcoin to become the main currency in every country where the country will not be able to fully control and monitor the circulation bitcoins. For this reason, currently many countries are trying hard to create a Bitcoin version of FIAT by utilizing the same technology, blockchain. By having their own cryptocurrency, the country is able to regulate and control it in the hope that people will not depend on bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.

Yes, currently many countries are trying hard to create a Bitcoin version of FIAT by utilizing the same technology, blockchain. The fiat digital currency issued by the government is essentially different from Bitcoin. The fiat cryptocurrency uses only blockchain technology, which is a substitute for paper money, and does not adopt the real Bitcoin idea. Let's take the issuance of Bitcoin as an example, the total amount is 21 million. I believe that no government will limit the total issuance of its fiat digital currency. They will only continue to overprint currency. This is no different from the original banknotes.

We must consider that nothing that currently exists governments, banks was conceived with evil, but it was undoubtedly transformed by man's natural need to have control, power and profits, this entire system is currently so complex that in its current configuration by very good idealistic architecture that you have with Bitcoin, it is not so easy to produce a economic change if individuals do not get involved beyond seeing only bitcoin as an asset.

I think, Human civilization is about being fair about how they use their currency, manage their assets, and perceive the risks from the banks.  Human civilizations need not be judged on their merits.  People have realized many truths and reformed their thinking since the birth of bitcoin.  In the midst of a world where the coercion of sovereignty is increasingly evident, bitcoin is the link that closely ties regulations from that pressure.

Bitcoin was not in vogue at the beginning of human civilization they could not manage their wealth properly. Civilization has started to improve since the inception of bitcoin the introduction of bitcoin has taken people from a state of prosperity to a state of prosperity although the price of bitcoin was low in the beginning nowadays with the increase in price, all the people are managing their wealth by investing and bitcoin has become the source of income.

Yes, that's right, with strict personal security.  No one can take over the wallet that holds someone's bitcoins.  I've had it for a long time.  Until now still intact and safe.  I am very careful about keeping my wallet private keys safe.  Because like you said if you lose your private security key no one can break it.

Agree. Right now, the best security for our wallets is a hard wallet or something tangible, such as writing your passwords on a piece of paper or anything that you can see and not just stored on your computer or in the cloud, because we never know what will happen. Just have an extra layer of security, like what I've read in this forum, where he writes it down and places it in a box with a lock, as well as hiding it. Losing your private key is the same as losing your money, which you can't get back. You'll simply move on.

The only thing that resembles Bitcoin in all these digital fiat versions is the ledger. But everything else is completely different though. Basically, the same thing with alts and most crypto. Only inspired by Bitcoin, but only from the technology. Everything else, namely control, permission are retained. Even immutability and supply caps are all gone from these blockchains:)

Bitcoin is the latest technology that is still being tested in life to make it easier for users to transact privately, transparently and openly. But Bitcoin cannot change corruption on a personal level or on a government scale, it cannot change human nature and anything else. Maybe in the future the Blockchain system will be adapted because of its security and make it more of a digital asset for investment that is used by many people.

Yes, Bitcoin alone cannot change government or personal corruption. For many people, Bitcoin is at best a currency. However, in my opinion, what is more important is the kind of thinking behind Bitcoin. Decentralization, equality, freedom, transparency, and fairness are all the enlightenment that Bitcoin brings to mankind. These ideas will inspire more people to awaken. When more and more ordinary people awaken, they will continue to spread the Bitcoin consensus. This will force the government to start using blockchain for governance, making governance more fair and transparent. This process may be very long, but I believe it will come.

Maybe my height is not enough. I don't understand Bit Civilization.
What I know is that Bitcoin has changed our payment methods, giving us freedom of thought and freedom of payment.
I haven't seen anything else you said yet.

if too much money is printed, the population will automatically hold a lot of money. That way, our purchasing ability is high and the goods we will buy are reduced. The amount of money in circulation will cause inflation. Countries can not print excessive money, if you think every country can print money as they wish then you are wrong. Here the law of supply and demand applies, that's why it is impossible for countries to print money in excess, as well as if countries issue cryptocurrencies, they will also consider their country's financial inflation. Currently, I choose to be realistic and choose to follow the rules of my country's government and international laws, and BTC, for now, I still consider as an asset, because this is what my government has legalized, while Blockchain is an open technology that can be used and developed by any country.
Honestly, I'm still curious and waiting for a surprise when BTC runs out to be mined. And just like FIAT, it looks like BTC is also starting to be controlled only by the rich. But I believe that crypto and blockchain will continue to evolve.
