Until now there is no new such idea, maybe we can see them in near future but you missed IDO which is Initial Dex Offering but got buried under Defi and NFT craze.

I think next year will be for cross-chain projects that can integrate and expand Eth ecosystem and its own. For example Solano, Near Protocol, Dot. These projects are capable of solving many of the real problems of the Ethereum blockchain within their own ecosystems. At a minimum, they will help solve the problem of transaction fees, as well as thanks to the interaction of their communication bridges, a large number of DeFi, NFT,
which, of course, provides tremendous opportunities for developers and users of final products projects are developing within these ecosystems.

I cannot think of what's next with those. I think if there's success with the NFTs then it shall create the next projects that might the idea out of it.
Although it's like the same year as the ICOs where NFTs have been introduced yet there's not that much traction during that period. It's just this period that they've got attention from the community and I guess if their profitability stays the same for the next years. This will be the longest domination of these NFTs.

If there were an idea, I would already be rich, because defi, nft were invented by the same people as you and me and have already earned a huge fortune from these ideas, so now a fresh idea in cryptocurrency is expensive.

It’s hard to predict that actually because we think everything is already in the market but in reality, someone can still introduce new things in the market and when that happen, for sure the hype will be there as well.

For now, go for NFT that is currently on a big hype right now especially the NFT games. There’s a lot of good games that you can play and invest with, just study everything since there’s also a scam NFT so choose wisely before you invest.

And why do you want to know, you want to be one of the first people to invest in that new hype? Because I can tell you that even if you do there is no guarantee that you are going to get any kind of profits as people only hear of the success stories but they never hear of all the people that lost their money as they are ashamed to reveal their stories and how they got scammed.

Forget about the hype and invest in solid projects, and there is nothing more solid than bitcoin as it is by far the best coin and the only one that we know it is going to survive no matter what happens, I understand that some people could be doubtful as its price is very high but getting some profits is better than to lose all your money, as it is the most common scenario that happens to those that invested in those coins.

It is hard to predict what next the big event will come up, developers will always leading the way on how they will find a better path and build a good project that could be the next big thing. I am thinking about the decentralization idea seems like the Defi but in a different concept and perhaps the good thing is to let us wait and see,

It looks like for the next couple of years, the trend would still be Defi, token sales (IDOs, IEOs, ICOs or whichever sale method), but I'm not really sure about NFTs though. Seems to be like on/off these days but I'm not too sure (technically, there's no way to be sure). I believe these would still be the trend because they're all innovative and exciting for the next couple of more years. Until then, I would just stick with projects that are spearheading DeFi, NFT and IDOs like NEAR protocol and  maybe, Solana.

I'm not sure about this but you will not see a new trend again. DEFI and NFT have a very big field and it can be used for the various purpose. There will be no another trend to come. Maybe the shitcoin trend will come again like when doge coin was making so many scammers to issue their own token. I hope that day will never come again.
It seems like we will stay at here forever.

Only if we can know, for sure many will invest more ahead of time but there’s no other way to know what would be th next trend.

There are a few new concepts that are brewing but you will only come to know about them when they are in the market. At the moment DEFI and NFT are ruling the market especially NFT. Big media houses are now entering the NFT market place and this will again boost the market. The next big thing will be CeDefi, there are a few projects that will be launched soon.

NFT is the trend now and many are still focus on this so there’ll be no new project yet, since investors are still on NFT. We might see a new one once the hype on NFT is done, ride on it now before its too late.

This is not a hype though, because there’s a lot of good NFT and many already make good profit on that. Beware though on fake NFT games, there’s a lot of them out now in the market which is very normal in cryptomarket to see such scam projects.

Too early to look for what's next because the hype of NFT is just started especially on NFT games so this may take months before it slowly gone and before we see the new trend. Early this year it was Meme tokens hype, and the second quarter is about NFT games until now, so this can still be a good time to buy and invest on NFT, I'm not sure though with NFT art but I'd prefer more on the NFT games.

NFT gaming is trending. People are making money in games. It's the easiest way to access blockchain today. Blockchain applications such as data management or payment services already exist but cannot be as popular as blockchain games. More and more we will see that blockchain will swing into everyday life.

There's more in the future for sure after this NFT.,  and maybe it all about online games IMO, coz as you ca see it keeps upgrading, just imagine from normal investment and now you can really earn while enjoying the game. So how much more in the future? As the matter of fact online games is more popular nowadays and i know due to these NFT there will be more good online games in the future that you can literally makes good profits as well which even casual games its possible IMO.

I think the next one is DAO. defi and nft are gradually moving closer to the real world from the encrypted world. Defi stands for finance and nft stands for art. Dao I think it may represent politics. It is entirely possible to build a completely open source and transparent political system through blockchain. I look forward to the birth of such a project

I don't really know if it is the next big thing but i personally find all those play-to-earn games that are emerging right now quite interesting. If you look at axies infinity then you can see that a lot of people in the Philippines don't go working anymore because they play axies and can make 1500$ per month with it which is way more than they would make with working in the Philippines. Of course such play-to-earn games behave mostly like a normal investment, which means you need to be early to make a really nice profit and if you want to start with axies infinity now it is also very much possible that you lose money with it, because no game grows forever and if no new players join then you can't sell your axies to them.
