Yordenis Ugas is scheduled to fight in the undercard of the scrapped Pacquiao vs Spence match so he has been training for months now, I supposed.

Even though Ugas younger than Manny, the latter is not known for his power and speed so I think this could be easy work for Manny.

I just could not imagine the feelings of the fans who bought and anticipate action with Manny vs Spence because this fight could be one-sided and boring to watch and may end up just like a sparring session for Manny.

It's not Pacquiao that found replacement for Errol's match but AFAIK, Ugas is an undercard that's now going to replace Errol to fight Pacquaio. But there were some news lately that Pacquiao isn't accepting the last minute replacement made by Spence's team. It made confused then but later on, some news came out that it's all in and Pacquiao's fine with that replacement. With this match, a lot of speculations were made and thought something about the sudden eye injury by Errol. It's going to be a week and two days and that's quick days to come.

I'm 100% sure they didn't offer that to Mayweather. It's impossible for that boxer to just accept any offer even for an exhibition match. Remember that it takes several years in the making when he decided to accept Pacquiao's challenge so what's more in a sudden replacement.

Been reading this too but want to take it lightly. For let's say it's true, the advantage is Spence Jr can still prepare for long and while the time is passing, Pacquiao is now hitting the retirement and aging. Knowing Pacquiao, he can accept any challenge but his body might not cooperate in a hard boxing match 2-3 years from now or should I say, even for a year. The same goes for what Mayweather did when he avoid Manny during the people's champ prime and fierce days.

If Mayweather comes out of retirement to face Manny Pacquiao there is no doubt that it would become the biggest PPV event even if it scheduled in a short period of time. But Mayweather will not accept a fight against Manny Pacquiao in a short period because he knows the risk involved and he will do anything to keep his undefeated record intact   .
I am yet to watch any fights of Yordenis Ugas live but Manny Pacquiao is too strong technically for this kid.

Can't blame the fans to get disappointed on how the event turns since it only few weeks left before the fight happens but unfortunately it was cancelled due to some unfortunate events. As I read on the media sites that so many Americans has been disappointed with spence right now but we need the man to take a break and hopefully he will have speedy recovery, but good thing the fight of Pacquiao will still happen and I do agree with their team said that they shouldn't underestimate Ugas since he's still a great fighter and can able to defeat Pacquaio if he can throw good punches in the ring.

Actually, Yordenis Ugas is now in his post-prime age. He is now 35 years of age so even behind 7 years of age to Pacquiao, he is now considered as a veteran boxer unlike the likes of Spence Jr, Thurman, Crawford, etc. that can still be considered as a "kid" if they will face Pacquiao.

Ugas title of SuperWelterweigth was earned because it was granted by WBA as the previous holder Pacquiao is inactive. He didn't earn it thru a match so this is the best time he can show the world that he deserves the title.

This is a one-sided fight if we look at their performances in their past fights but things always have different results when it comes to reality and I believe this is the first time where Manny Pacquiao has the advantage when it comes to experience and skills. Many people think this upcoming fight is only a show for Manny to boost his popularity for the upcoming election but people will have a full comments with this when they see the result of the fight. My prediction is total domination and Ugas is just a prop here.

So Errol fight is cancelled and then Ugas comes in to save it. He doesn't have a good boxing record but I guess in his mind it's still a fair fight after all Pacquaio is old.
But this could be a bad bet for him. If he just watches carefully Pacquiao is a superhuman that this boxer didn't grow older. Watching his sparing videos, he has the will and body that doesn't give up yet.

Against Spence, Pacquiao was the underdog. But here, he is the favorite, and that too by a big margin. The last time I checked the odds, Pacquiao was at -310, while Yordenis Ugás is placed at +245. I spoke to a few of my friends, and none of them think that Ugás is a good opponent for Pacquiao. Shawn Porter won against Ugás in 2019, and a few months later, he went down against Errol Spence Jr. So gives an idea about his strength. And knowing Manny's experience and ring IQ, I think he can still overcome and adjust as the round goes and fight the fights that he wants and not to give Ugas breathing room and be comfortable as the fight progresses, so for me it will be Manny by UD, maybe 8 round to 4.
