A while ago I asked for a loan deal and was given negative trust for some reason. No one was hurt, scammed and no thing was exchanged. Is there anyway to take negative trust off my account for asking a question. Because this is pretty unfair and vengeful of people who don't for example know me as a person.

The negative trust is advisable, the way you demanded for loan can result to scam exit, you have not reputation yet on this forum, you did not join any campaign, no one knows any source of your income that can convince them that you will not scam, also no collateral. No one than the people that tagged your account can remove the negative trust, if you can convince them enough and have a valid reasonnfornjt to be removed, they will remove it. But, obviously, you can not have a valid reason yet for the negative trust to be removed.

Because this is pretty unfair and vengeful of people who don't for example know me as a person.
They are just using the negative trust as a means for other members on this forum not to get scammed because the way you requested for loan can result to scam.

There's a reason and it's clearly stated on your trust page. The trust feedback features are to prevent potential scammers as well as identifying one, it doesn't make sense if all the tag does is just to mark scammers. Then it'll be of no use since the scammers can easily use same tricks with new accounts to scam forum users.

About the untagging, sorry to disappoint but that's unlikely to happen and i won't advice the trust givers to do such since it seems this account has exchange hands (password was changed recently) and just because active recently (today) so unless you can prove you're the rightfully owner of the account then your appeal will should be given deaf ears.

Ps: That red tag was given one year back, why coming to appeal now, it doesn't make sense especially after the password was just changed and posting began today.

The idea of asking for a loan with no collateral is contrary to the rules of this forum. This is something that the community condemns, so you received a negative rating for it.
Suppose you visit a country as a tourist and you do not obey the laws of the country. What do you think will happen to you?

I do not know OP and i do not care about his trust score, but seems like you are talking non-sense also.
Far i know, there is no official rules, also there is no moderation of scams (bans) which also makes the "trust" system useless.
He were just tagged by someone who does not like newbies to ask for loan without providing security.

If you want to remove your negative trust, you need to contact those who sent negative feedback from your account.

They just giving negative trust if they feel you are trying to scam. 1BTC is big money no one will give you 1 BTC for non trusted account unless if you have collateral like altcoins. If you are going to use your account as collateral then it's not worth for 1BTC maybe they can give you below 0.002 or lower than that.

From what I can see from your account you are not active here on the forum since June 2020? Then you awake today just to ask how to remove negative trust?

The reason has been clear from your trust summary, there are references and @condoras actually has given you the information regarding a loan clearly.
And it is really nonsense to get that big amount of loan (1 BTC/more).
Many people are scammed so far, so this may be one of the ways to warn people here to be more and more careful when going to lend someone else. moreover in that is a very big amount.

Btw, try the suggestion from @BitMaxz and also lock your thread of loan this https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5243128.0

There you guys go again, I left because I got negative trust for asking a question. I put my actual identity on the line so I could be hounded if things went bad. I'm just saying i've never scammed anyone in my life and suddenly got negative trust for a question. No matter how you slice it that's pretty low ball and one sided. I only have one account. I practice safe crypto practices and I am a crypto evangelist. if I forsake my reputation I have so much more to lose than to gain.

So again I believe I was treated unfairly prompting me not to be here. I don't care what sounds good, I do what works and i'm here to help.

Were I given that loan, at this point the contract would have been fulfilled to all parties benefits. (I literally have given bitcoin away for months) I understand they don't know this but that was petty.

Since i joined this community i have not seen a DT member giving red tag to a user without evidence of tagging the user, it's very clear and understandable that crime most be committed before tagging someone, so from this scenario i strongly believe that DT member that miss uses the use of a negative trust, this is what i have to render because many people have said something tangible or emphasised on the solution.

Well, OP you should follow the forum rules first if you want to be treated as a trustworthy member in this forum and it's clearly stated that "No collateral, no loan". You should understand the word itself, it doesn't matter what your motives or what you are up to nobody wants to fall for a scam if they aren't paid back in the future.

If you want to continue your reputation unscratched you should know their rules and must follow it. Just understand that nobody wants to fall for sweet words or how noble your desire to help someone but rules is rules.

You deserve negative trust. Without any kind of collateral, you are asking for 1 BTC or more loan!! Seriously? You have no reputation, If you have I believe no one will give you such a big amount of loan without collateral. Before making a loan post you need to learn more details.

A while ago I asked for a loan deal and was given negative trust for some reason.

From what I see the reason was valid.

No one was hurt, scammed and no thing was exchanged.

Now think: what if somebody would have given you that loan?
But no, I see that same mindset here, hence imho the negative trust is still well deserved.

Is there anyway to take negative trust off my account for asking a question.

You'll have to ask those who left you the negative trust. But I think that you'd just waste your (and their) time.

Because this is pretty unfair and vengeful of people who don't for example know me as a person.

Not unfair at all. The warning is there. You may convince some to trust you, but it will convince more to use escrow when dealing with you. Which is just about right.

Ps: That red tag was given one year back, why coming to appeal now, it doesn't make sense especially after the password was just changed and posting began today.

I also think the same. We can't be sure, but an account that asks for 1 Bitcoin with no collateral, then is inactive and starts complaining about network trust.... Sounds like it's been sold.

But since we can't be sure, that's not the determining factor. The history of that account is suspicious enough in itself. All scammers have a nice explanation for their suspicious activities, so maximum caution should be applied.

A while ago I asked for a loan deal and was given negative trust for some reason.

Asking a question like this means that you didn't understand at all why you got the red trust, because @condoras immediately answered you with a link explaining collateral. Some reason is not something imaginary, but something that exists to prevent people from cheating on other people, and looking for 1 BTC just like that online definitely raises the red flag.

No one was hurt, scammed and no thing was exchanged. Is there anyway to take negative trust off my account for asking a question. Because this is pretty unfair and vengeful of people who don't for example know me as a person.

It is not a matter that no one is scammed, but it is a matter of prevention so that it does not happen at all, and your action provoked a reaction that is completely justified by the standards of the forum. The only way to fix this is to contact the members who left you a negative trust and try to convince them that you didn't mean anything bad and that you regret your actions.

Negative trusts won't be removed under most circumstances.

I did take a look at the reference, and it pretty much explains why.

When it comes to loans, you have to give someone tangible and not just your info. Who knows those documents could be faked? Likewise, going to bank and requesting for a loan without proving your worth (like salary and collaterals) will leave you empty handed by the end of the day. And if that's local, imagine the risks associated with both parties located thousands of miles away from one another.

I'm almost convinced that this is a sold account since it woke up after a year and also changed its password.

Whether you bought this account or not, do not expect from anyone to deliver you 1 BTC just for “interest” to “raise” projects. Only a fool would trust a stranger so much money. Also, unconfirmed suspicion is a valid reason to flag you negatively.

Although, I want you to publish a signed message from one of your addresses, just to ensure that you're (or not) an account buyer. Pick one, sign a message and shut my mouth:

I do not know OP and i do not care about his trust score, but seems like you are talking non-sense also.
Far i know, there is no official rules, also there is no moderation of scams (bans) which also makes the "trust" system useless.

It depends on your definition of official rules. Online communities have rules and norms of good behavior; whether they're regarded as official or not depends on each individual.

For example, you may not be familiar, there is this thread: [EDU] The Rule of "No Collateral, No Loan" - IGNORE AT YOUR OWN RISK!

The rule of "No Collateral, No Loan" means that in order to get a loan you must give collateral that is equal, or preferably higher to the amount you are being loaned.

If you completely ignore this sticky and make a loan request with no collateral, without having massive trust on the forum, the chances of you getting negative trusted feedback and therefore having a Trade with Extreme Caution tag is almost 100%.

He were just tagged by someone who does not like newbies to ask for loan without providing security.

Your statement is based on your personal opinion, and it does not reflect the actual situation.
I will repeat once again since you failed to get my point the first time: If you disregard the rules and norms of good behavior in the online community you are destined to be condemned by older community members.

Clearly, from this example it is evident that the trust system does serve its purpose and it is not, as you claim, "useless".

For no reason? Are you ready to give someone 45K if someone ask you and says that trust me I will pay you?

Asking small loan is acceptable but which is not even going to be granted if you are not having good trust here.

P.S: move to meta!

~
From the reference of your feedback, your identity/personal information is not a valid collateral.  Have you considered reading what are the valid collaterals here? https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=577765.msg6311902#msg6311902 before even creating that thread.

This is pretty much a "trust me bro, I am legit." loan.

P.S: move to meta!
I think it fits more in Reputation.
