Widecoin (WCN) SHA256-POW , a digital currency that enables instant payments to anyone, anywhere in the world, was launched early in 2021 by a non-profit and cryptocurrency lover group. The initial release of Widecoin is based upon Bitcoin Core v0.21.0. Their upstream changelog applies to Widecoin and is included in separate release notes. Widecoin has improved transaction speed, secure verification, and mining facilitation.
