your question is unclear. but anyway, whether there is a pandemic or not, i do believe nft will still get the hype. it's quite an easy method to earn money as long as you can produce something rare and somewhat artistic.

We are experiencing a pandemic, not just an epidemic. Well, with ridiculousness by NFTs you mean? Just as the ICO days and IEO and others, there's now the trend.
We don't know how long this is going to stay but since 2017, there's already an NFT during that time, the cryptokitties. And this time, this is going to stay as we're talking and I think many of them will also be out in the market for sure and will eventually die.

It started before the pandemic.

With collectible like stuff being traded as NFTs, personally never found any such thing as interesting. But then some celebs got into it as started riding the hype which coincided with the worldwide pandemic. I dont think the later has any connection with the former. People mostly created NFTs are the one who have already been doing this for a few years and this only brought in new buyers/sellers into the craze.

Point is that the crypto users need some hype to survive and make money. So they move from bitcoin>Altcoin>ICO>Stablecoin>DeFi>NFT and so on.

It wasn't. NFT has been using for a lot of people as a way to find a new source of income during this pandemic. This is also helping them a lot while this trend will be also putting them all into the big risk.
What you are saying was true but it's not the best one. The isolation during the pandemic has been pushing anyone who already affected caused by this pandemic to search for the new way to get income to fulfill their daily needs.
Even when the pandemic was not happening and you will be also seeing NFT to be exist in the market as a new trend that used by a lot of people.
NFT has been existing in the market since a few years ago since there was a new project that called cryptokitties.

There are no correlation between the pandemic and the hype of NFT. In cryptocurrency there will be a hype happen every year and it always change, we could saw back years ago there are lending platform, staking, IEO, defi, and now NFT. The crypto space keep developing and people are making hype (mostly whales are starting the hype) and we have to keep up to date if we want to make profits.

You are wrong OP, it wasn't Pandemic and NFT it was DeFi and Pandemic, NFT has nothing to do with the pandemic, the hype surrounding NFT started when the Pandemic have already cooled down, wrong info IMO
