Can you buy a rtx3070 non LHR for 1400$ right now? Is this a good move for the price or it's plain stupidity? One is available in my home street at a computer spare part store

Get one from zotac, even the LHR ones are good for RVN.

If it is under warranty and new it is an okay price not good.

Okay.

1000 under warranty is good.

But at 1400 in 50 days time you may get back 350-450 usd

And non lhr cards will have more value so it will start to look good.

This is a good investment if your money is at home or in the bank at 1-2% per annum.
If you have inexpensive electricity, then you will pay off in 1 or 2 years, and then you will have a free mining farm.
Video cards always pay off, you just don't need to sell them when mining is not very profitable. Mine cryptocurrencies and pay for electricity when mining is not profitable. The prices for cryptocurrency are constantly growing.

The price is good enough if the card is non LHR, I don't know why people are scared of buying cards, the next bear market will not be as bad as in the past so don't expect to see ETH 30MH at 0.50$ again, people now understands the value of crypto there will always be buyers now

if buying today a 3070ti LHR its only good for RVN
if buying today a 3070 non LHR is good for ETh but not so good for RVN late (but with less power consumption)
so its a tryck on what to buy...and for sure the NOn LHR cost more than the LHR

personally bought today 2x 3070 non LHR and planning to make a 3070ti rig at the end of the month for RVN only
want to have enough when halving comes.

Ravencoin halving is not going to make the coin price surge, it's only the mining block reward that will shrink, mind you this isn't BTC halving that will surely affects the market and Ravencoin isn't the only pow algorithm coin that have halved in the past, don't expect any bull run

it is still a terrible deal imo. there's a chance that in a month or two, profitability will fall down because the market starts getting weak again, and who knows when can op mine until he get his money back and start making money from there. might as well buy the new 6600xt at $500 if that's the case. it is a somewhat great card for mining, which can rival 3060ti according to what i heard.

RTX 3070 can still achieve 32MH on kawpow that's just 3MH difference from 3070ti on kawpow and I believe that ETH mining isn't going away anytime soon so honestly 3070 non LHR is still way better than 3070ti LHR

Wait .. what? 6600Xt can only do 32MH why said it can rival 3060ti? Isn't 3060ti same performance with 3070? 61MH on both max cos I have these cards presently, by the way more cards means more spending, it's either you get more MOBo and still upgrade your power supply and get more risers, even more heats to deal with
