I only heard about how people can mine coins with their mobile phones, aside nothing else and according to what I read about it for over 2years of people mining the coin no listing has been done, from my end that doesn't seem right maybe the devs aren't serious with the project there's no point mining a coin that doesn't have value, those devs should probably be arrested for wasting people's time and data on shit coin.

you know Bitcoin once didnt have any value I saw on the Pi Network app they are giving Pi away worth a dollar each.  Might become something but I ve been working on a foundation for the Pi network called Piece of Pi. I have to go back and fix some things but I have a few coins coming to help.

Well, if you look at the thread by @Leviathan.007 you'd notice on the last page as far as I know there's some kind of information selling happen in the dark web and it traces might be from Pi Network. They don't care as long as they can exploit it with their sweet promises and these people as well are that hungry for free when in fact their personal information are at risks here.

You have probably read a lot of information and warnings from this project. Personally, I also follow it and have also warned people not to use it to mine Pi. Moreover, this is also a project with a lot of unknowns and that goes against my thinking about a decentralized field.

It's a matter of Being Fishy and Privacy.
There's seems to be a reason behind it. No one knows the real thing. As for me I just don't want any hassles that's all, Imagine you're still on bed and somethings gonna pop up on your screen that you had to make a selfie for a requirement? Geez wtf.

There are a lot of things that point to it being an obvious scam and them 'mining' people's information instead of people mining actual Pi tokens that would be worth something in the future. I've seen a lot of people advertising the said project and being blind by the fact that the project existed for 3 years without an actual value and token to back it up save for the developers' and project managers' promises that it will be worth something in the future. 3 years, nothing of importance happened to the "network" and people are still into it, lol/.

First of all, as advertised, the mainnet will be launch in December. But what in the world  the mining on a cellphone is for? Still its consensus algorithm is unknown and generally the mining procedure is unknown whether it possibly generates blocks for logging information just as a blockchain does. The scary thing is people are being conditioned that the cost of 1 pi will be $100 . That is self assessment not market driven. People should do their own research and never be thrown away to a too good to be true situation. Just observe.

It has been a long time since this project started and we have not seen any product or anything that would guarantee us that this project would work. The KYC part of the app is also sketchy for me and there might be possibility that the data gathered will be sold to others. I have been accumulating Pi before a few years ago and I still have them but I have not done anything substantial to my coins after I have learned some of the fishy things that they might have been doing.

I think what everyone should look out for with this project is to check the lawsuit against Nicolas Kokkalis.

Vincent McPhillip filed a case against Nicolas for wrongful termination and other issues relating to Chengdiao Fan and Kokkalis' marital problems. Another reason is an implicit threat of termination if McPhilip does not provide the branding materials, which might result in a loss of investors to their firm. The file also stated that their company is almost on the brink of collapse when the pandemic hits but I think that's normal though.

Moreover, facebook also filed a lawsuit against Kokkalis for buying a domain name called "facebookdeals.com" which is quite fishy.

It has been a long time since this project started and we have not seen any product or anything that would guarantee us that this project would work. The KYC part of the app is also sketchy for me and there might be possibility that the data gathered will be sold to others. I have been accumulating Pi before a few years ago and I still have them but I have not done anything substantial to my coins after I have learned some of the fishy things that they might have been doing.

It got shill quite hard in my country and a lot of 'normie' hook up the app, verify KYC and giving away their info just for some worthless coin with no dex or cex for the basic buying or selling. Now, there is no hype around Pi Network anymore since there is a far more promising coin out there even with sketchy parts like KYC because at least, you got some value than the worthless Pi coin.

I had been mining this for 2 years now but it seems I will not be able to make it a real money in the end because of false hope I guess hence there were no solid development of their project. Couple of days it became on trend maybe the community hyping it up to regain popularity two years ago and with such too much hype of the price predictions this will turn ugly the soonest.

- I don't understand why so many people can be patient and spend two precious years on an unknown platform like the Pi network while asking them to hold bitcoin for several years, they don't have the slightest expression of interest, the name of bitcoin is so bombastic and of such quality, many people are still stubborn in mining other products of such unknown origin. Especially installing the exploit on a vulnerable device such as a mobile phone, burn the life of the device and become a destination for virtual bacteria to attack

This whole Pi network thing is a huge scam. Just google "Pi coin scam" or search the forum. You will see why it's actually a scam. First of all, you don't mine anything (coins are all premined). There is no operational chain for this coin. So where are all those coins? Secondly, you get coins for referring people. Where does those coin come from? Doesn't it sound more like a pyramid scheme or MLM shit? And then, then I have heard people saying that there are advertisements on the app. So yeah, you are watching ads and generating a stead flow of money for them. They are very highly likely selling your data (they make you do "KYC"). You get nothing in return. So stop promoting that shit coin.

Pi network has come to the market in the form of new coin.  Any project that does not have a goal is not likely to be successful in any way.  Pi is the 3rd class and low collet project I have seen.  Worse than Sob is the team management er performance of the project and its work plan.

If I remember vividly, that project has been around for a very long time, where users can mine the token with their smartphones and till date nothing tangible has been heard other than users keeps mining with no clear direction of what is to come. The simple fact is, when a team lacks a roadmap, it doesn't help both them and their users, therefore having a roadmap is very important as it will help keep the team on the right track.
If the team are really ready to work something out, they would have at least keep their community informed, but gradually the community are lossing interests in the project. Moreover, many projects which launched a mining app and claimed mining is possible through the use of smartphones are still no where to be found today, they thought this one will be different but it seems it's not.

think that by means of minding this coin they'll be able to earn a lot, most of the poeple who wanted to

convince other people use Bitcoin as example, they wanted to make a statement that what if this coin

Thanks for sharing a more detailed thread about the project, I receive a lot of messages forwarded to my FB Messenger account from my friends, but honestly, I never take time to read because I believe any project that has uses a lot of referrals could be potentially a scam project.

With the many projects in the space, we can always choose the best and I would never invest in a project that looks like a Ponzi scheme.

If it's only listed in the exchanges, we will have an idea on how big the money are coming in.

I tried PI network in my phone and its literally like mining. Its been overdue already since i believe it was first introduce like 2 or 3 yrs ago and promise to be listed on some exchange website but didnt happen. I didnt ignore the possibility that it will be listed but thats all i can do. Im not convince to invest on this one.
