3070ti LHR unlocked

Good news guys, now you can unlock LHR GPUs using latest NBminer 39.0 this doesn't work on 471.11 drivers but works on others tested on my 3070ti card and I'm getting 52MH presently on ETH algorithm compare to old 45MH, I know it's not much but it's a good start, if ordinary miner can get this far well who knows what the future might bring?

5-7MH more? Sorry to say this isn't alot achievement but at least we are getting somewhere, I heard this cards are built with LHR in their silicon not the driver so it may actually take longer to find a way around this limitation, thanks for sharing

Great work from NBMiner,it is my preferred one as it can run my Rx 6800 xt without problems,all others lots of crashes so far with those cards,now they have gone and doing some unlocking to LHR cards,that is awesome.Although it is just 7 Mhsh it is a good start as you always have to start somewhere,I think good things are coming to miners in the near future.

I don't think its in the silicon. They wouldn't spend millions on R&D having to have a new chip made just for LHR. Most likely its just some software (firmware) area which leads to the lower hashrate. Hence the reason why some fixes such as this are working. Yes its not a perfect fix but its at least something. Miners in general shouldn't be buying these LHR gpus anyways thinking that one day some software fix is going to be out.

Keep in mind, Nvidia is a billion dollar company, so they most likely know that most are using it to mine ETH And they programmed the driver/firmware to detect certain computations and trigger something to have a lower hashrate. Can be anything such as constantly checking the DAG for a share when in most games there wouldn't be this much memory computations.

I  think in 6-12 months time, when things calm down. They won't be releasing anymore of these LHR versions.

NBminer and phoenix miner works great for newer AMD GPUs rather than the older architecture like Radeon VII and Vega 56, after Claymore miner the only option left is Team red miner

It's a progress indeed, imagine having 10x 3070ti in a single rig and managing the 45MH and this happened? That's still some good boost in performance honestly, all eye on NBminer right now maybe we will have more boosts in LHR GPUs in their coming miner updates

Make sure you keep the power limit on 68% anything lower or higher will trigger the LHR effect, this is tested and trusted settings to get the exact LHR unlocked, try this and drop a feedback

Innosilcon + bitmain or with AMD + Intel  + Nvidia

he is in the drivers seat.

ProgPoW  is a death blow for asics.
