How many times it will takes the full process from selection ---> job interview ---> hiring ---> on-board ---->  etc etc?
My two cents... When a behemoth like this will release some app or official launch crypto service the effect on the price will be something explosive....

Absolutely! As the days go by we will see more and more big companies getting involved with crypto in their services which is a good thing because will make the demand for crypto even greater and will push the price to explode.

Walmart has taken a nice step. One taken in the right direction. If I remember vividly PayPal used to have vacancies up like this some years back and then ended up building a crypto product and service for their user. Walmart might be looking to get into crypto and if that's the case, I reckon they'll have more vacancies in the near future in an attempt to build up their crypto department.

Market will go haywire if they officially announce plans to offer crypto products or services to their millions of users, huge!

I completely agree, sooner than later things seems to be unfolding before our very own eyes, few years back nobody would believe this giant will consider crypto as part of their activities, 'if you can't beat them you join them' they can no longer resist for too long, the road to acceptance is inevitable. Btc is gradually wining them over no doubt. I hope they can make it official and not act like Amazon who are still confused.

After reading this Walmart job listing all I can see is that they want to make something similar like Amazon is doing with making their own centralized walmart coin product,
instead of using already proven and tested and decentralized thing called Bitcoin.
They want to have full control of supply and they want to earn money from this thing and they just want to ride on wave of Bitcoin bull run.
This news could bring more attention to Bitcoin, but I would suggest people to not waste time with projects like this, that can't bring anything positive to end users except more tracking and surveillance.

well, right now, we can only assume things about their plans. but with the hiring of a position dedicated as a Crypto and Digital Currency Product Lead, it means, they are seriously looking into crypto as part of their business. they may diversify their business with the integration of crypto-related products. and let us see who they will hire and if he is indeed capable of serving walmart's interest on crypto.
this news will boost further adoption in crypto as there are so many walmart shoppers and they may attract their interest in using crypto.

The same excitement when we first saw Facebook hiring crypto and blockchain experts. This could lead them to make their own coin instead and have its usage towards their company.
This would be the next trend that most companies will have to consider their own tokens and might think that it can also be marketable worldwide as tradable stock for them.

It is not something surprising and it has been happening perhaps not with such renowned companies, because it may be that some companies already have personnel specialized in cryptocurrency, we saw it recently with amazon who showed a job related to cryptocurrencies.

There is something on it tweet of "hey, we are also getting involved," now, in terms of the price effect, we are living it, we are in +20kx2.2 we must not forget that the $20k barrier was not broken years ago it was only a few months ago.

It seems that they may be going to start a business development related to digital and also cryptocurrency.
Although it may not be as near as now, at least, they have started nice things about crypto.
In one of the job descriptions, they said:

Im sure we’ll see Q3 bring all 3 companies holding BTC on their balance sheets and a Q4 acceptance of Bitcoin to some degree to power their investment into the stratosphere. Those stuff are pretty easy for their current IT to do in my opinion. Maybe their trying their hands on something that's a bit more different than what's currently available for the market or maybe they are going to integrate blockchian or crypto into their system. A crypto gift card would be awesome though.

Its a very big company in a different location, its is definitely an adoption worth waiting for the whales to live like a king. We are all very early in the Bitcoin investment, if walmart will start before the year ends, I guess they could accumulate more especially because lockdowns make people are panic buy every time there are supplies.
Every shopper will have to also adopt cryptocurrency too. I hope its not just Bitcoin that they will accept but also ETH and some that they'll pick.

Walmart is not the first and it's not going to be the last one doing such a thing. Since cryptocurrencies are getting being used by more people all over the world, any company would like to use these and they will definitely need some cryptocurrency experts to guide them in that way. Even if they don't want to do anything related to cryptocurrencies the company will need to get some knowledge about cryptocurrencies they will lose both time and money. Even, the companies, that hate cryptocurrencies will hire cryptocurrency experts to guide them on how to stay safe from cryptocurrency scams. So, I guess there will be more companies hiring cryptocurrency experts soon.
