I think these two coins are pretty good, especially for polka dots.
polkadot itself has now become a hot topic of discussion, which can be seen from its development even though this coin is quite new, we can see the development of this coin is very good because this coin I can say is a unique coin because their network uses multichain sharded which allows them to make transactions online. parallel which of course can improve scalability.
As for Uniswap itself, I don't really follow this coin, but looking at it now, it seems that there are quite a lot of Uniswap enthusiasts and I think these two coins will still last at least we can still see this coin for the next few years

They're both a good alt coin in the market, and infact polkadot is one of the most interesting token nowadays along with solana, cardano and others, wherein that has a potential to break out within this year based on other traders out there around the internet who use to make technical analysis with good altcoins. And honestly i don't now about uniswap but perhaps it will as it's top 11 at coinmarketcap which means it's a trusted and very optimistic project as well..for me in my personal opinion its very unpredictable unless if the rank is below 50 in cmc and no good history in the market because for that reason we don't know yet if it has a potential to last..

Uniswap is not the biggest dex, that is pancakeswap (by volume daily and market share) and it is also not the first ever one neither, there were few before them as well. However it was the first one that got this much hype, before Uniswap people never really cared about Dex and they just believed that it was never going to work because it required a lot of peoples participation and without thousands of people using it, they would have been right.

However uniswap figured that out by doing the biggest airdrop in the history of airdrops, people made 1k+ dollars from it and that's each person, some people abused it and made tens of thousands of dollars. So long story short that made people involved very quickly and because they were involved the system finally worked and this is why Uniswap is great now. If anything else uses this weapon against Uniswap and gets these people to itself? Then uniswap would die as well. (all these go for polkadot too).

I think the bigger opportunity is with DOT. UNI does have a sizable trade. but for the development of communities and markets in the long-term progress of DOT, I believe it will be more attractive to investors.

Basically if we look at Polkadot and Uniswap are two coins running on two different smart contracts. UNI is a coin that uses Ethereum smart contracts, while Polkadot is one that runs on Binance smart contracts.
Over time, the development of crypto is getting faster, so UNI is also added to Polygon, BSC, Heco and Xdai smart contracts. Meanwhile, DOT is only run in two smart contracts, namely BSC and Heco. Maybe in this case the UNI coin is still superior.
On the other hand, UNI coins have less circulation than Polkadot. Uniswap are huge as a platform at this time, with total value locked around 3.4b$ and daily volume 1.62b$. The only way to shutdown it and loss the value of $UNI is if theres security leaked which enable someone hacked the platform.
