they are at holidays this week, but last week they ask me to stop the miner, packit and ship it back, i will wait for the firmware, they need the serial and the macadress.
we have to wait till sunday/monday next week

I am new here but had to join to say that you guys are not alone, i received several T3 Units earlier this week and every single one is locked as well. I basically got a bunch of really expensive heaters. I wonder if this problem is just limited to the few of us? Because they sold our of the machines on there website fairly quickly so you would think many people would have this issue? I have searched everywhere and have not found many people complaining of this problem or any valid solution other then begging them to fix the issue
I also emailed Innosilicon but i understand they are on a holiday, So hopefully they respond Monday. I am not very confident because my past experiences is they NEVER return emails ever. If they get back to any of yous can you please let me know what the solution or explanation is for this? I don't understand how this can happen other then it was intentional?

Innosilicon simply remove these miner from farming and shipped to us. So they lied by saying it is refurbished machine. They didn't event took time to check it. Will never buy from Innosilicon again. Anyway, to fix the problem, you need to make a firmware update but the firmware is specific to the machine which means you will have to send an email to Innosilicon support with : - your order ID - Serial number - MAC address - DNA of the machine. To find the DNA, they ask me to download Security Tool software (they gave me this link : https://drive.google.com/u/0/uc?id=18p3lwB9UrBDgTJjI3CCfWJVM-ggRxstu&export=download maybe you can find the software on their website) After sending all these, I received the firmware update, upload it and I was able to change the Pool settings ! HOURA ! |

I left it working while i was fixings some S9 and then it was on the pool...it has over 36hrs in the pool. if you have get to the step of unlocking it and don have the firmware place your pool and user and just leave it 20-30 min and i will show in the pool, innosilcon server must be back after next monday 18 oct |

Innosilicon helped me fix my issue they were very responsive and helpful and it was even dureing there holiday weekend. I have a funny feeling that INNOSILICON is gone for good at least in the USA. With the ban they probably dont want the risk of selling machines directly especially to the US.
You can acess there website useing a VPN from china it looks almost the same as the US site but there is no mention of them producing and Mineing related items. That whole section is gone

if so, i hope they send me my last refurbished t3 that bought. it seems that they getting out ... but maybe they are just reorginizing this cake its too big even for manufacturers, they can always recive bank transfers for fiat. maybe the are going now to take visa and mc and the are just placing the new store for us, we need to wait till they get back from holidays, |

Just tell me how much $ it would be and I would appreciate your support. ~snip~ Why not make a new thread here on the forum and tell us exactly the problem about your miner and maybe we can help you since this thread is was posted last year. Innosilicon has bad support even you have an order ID they will still need the whole miner info including DNA, Mac, and serial number. The only solution for this is to flash it with SD card firmware but you need to check the control board if it's g9 or g19 or check it in the dashboard. |

I have the same problem with Innosilicon T2THF+ , somebody can help me? I send a email to Innosilicon but they can´t help me because i buy it on second hand Do you mind checking the control board because there is only two control board supported to flash SD card g9 and g19 but it seems this unit is SOC version which means you won't be able to flash through SD card? I search for almost 45 minutes just to find a solution to unlock the fixed pool settings and I think you can try this all firmware from this link below are unlocked firmware - https://github.com/mekas17/fwI don't know how trust is this firmware but if Innosilicon won't able to help you it's worth trying. |

i've tried them all firmwares by https://github.com/mekas17/fw non of them works, these are just old version firmwares. after a long research like 5 hours now, the only way is to access the control board and remove the pool locking file, no matter what version you put as long as the ROOTFS is there no firmware could change pool setting. anyhow, what i came to know to access SSH you need to have the password which if pool locking is there the normal passwords provided earlier by innosilicon t1t2t3 .. etc will not work as the when locking happened they changed the password. they only to sort this is by password config which is only done by linux, windows will not allow. another high cost solution is to buy a new control board which i've tried and it worked but again very high cost as it cost around $200 for one only and i have 10 which i beleive it doesnt worth it. i will keep you guys updated when i reach a solution on this |

caught up with covid and didnt get the chance to update you guys, as i mentioned earlier that i bough a new control board but even that it didnt work at that time and i used to get 12TH/s while my machine can give around 35TH/S, i've gained the full speed with turning SSH port to 'open' and then used port 2, 3 & 4 in the control board then wala i got all the speed. this is the easiest way cost around $170 for a new board plus downloanding Ubuntu and learning to connect to the machine using this command " SSH 192.168.1.xxx -p 22' or ' root@192.168.1.xxx -p 22' then it shall give you that port 22 is open. another method is to hack into the board which i am doing through a very long long process i will put you the link but please do not use these methods into hacking other people or stealing or in bad things even the server is mentioning the same. the process name is 'Brute Forcing' where you connect to your SSH and gain the password by trying millions of passwords currently been using in the world, but in order to reach this level you need several days for training and you will fail everytime until you find a soultion, please follow the below steps in order to reach the brute forcing process i will write the steps only as each step contains a very long process very hard to explain it here just google it and when you get stuck in something post it here i will give you the solution that worked for me: 1. download and install ORACLE B JAVA for developers 2. download and install Kali-linux where you can use their server to hack and its untracable 3. download and install latest Ubuntu (note: it is much faster and securer for mining than windows once you use it will be in love with and will delete windwos lol) 4. download and install CUPP (common users passwords profile) 5. download and install the mentalist or cache (wordlist of passwords customize as you prefer) 6. download and install MSF Console (this is the hardest part and the toughest) once you complete the above you enter 1. cd cupp 2. nmap 192.168.1.xxx -p 22 (your machine IP make sure port 22 is open otherwise no use) 3. update latest server 'sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get upgrade' 4. lxc console my-kali (please do not use it in hacking others) 5. cd cupp (just to make sure it is open) 6. use this website as it shows you the final step only, it is very handy website you can learn much from them ' https://www.wonderhowto.com/' important note: please do not download these and use them in windows through other linuex program like putty or others, it is totally unsafe and hackers will get into your computers very easily and steal all your data, USE ONLY ON UBUNTU i hope i can help the majority any question you have let me know, just send me a msg here and i will get back to you even if am late i will be back to you. enjoy hacking your machines guys. have a good one |

Hello good day, last time I shared the problem I had of some blocked miners that I bought from China (I was a victim of scam) talking to software engineers they say they can help me but I need an UNLOCK FIRMWARE for my model or some other Innosilicon model . I am here to ask for help if anyone had the same problem and has any Unlock Firmware that they can provide me with. The unlock firmware is so my engineer can compare and do something about it with my miners, I already tried innosilicon technical support and they don't help me
My purchase was legal, I can check my billing, the issue is that it was second-hand with a company in China (which I investigated and if it presents tax information) but innosilicon "can't" be held responsible because I didn't buy it with them.
I have been holding my investment for months because they sold me locked miners and nobody is in charge, if someone could provide me with an unlocking firmware I would greatly appreciate it. My miners are model T2Thf+ and T2Thl+ thanks

The unlocking firmware is specific to each miner as it is coded with the miner serial# and other information. You have to get it through Inno.
Look through this thread and further up you will find what you need to contact Inno and how to retrieve the information they need from EACH miner so they can then send you the unlocking FW for each one of them.

I have been holding my investment for months because they sold me locked miners and nobody is in charge, if someone could provide me with an unlocking firmware I would greatly appreciate it. My miners are model T2Thf+ and T2Thl+ thanks
Why did you buy a miner from 3rd party without support? Always do deal only with authorized resellers or directly to the manufacturer dealing with unauthorized resellers do not give you proper support. There are lots of Innosilicon users here who experienced the same thing and most of them never solved their issue. Only Innosilicon support can provide you unlock firmware if you bought the miner directly from them. Actually, those 2 unit models are SOC or secured firmware you can't just upgrade it with an unsigned firmware. Anyway, would you mind trying the firmware posted here https://github.com/mekas17/fw |
