I was just reading a report about BTC , A USA family sell all there assets and with that amount they invest in Bitcoin in 2019. as in 2021 BTC was on its peak ! So they get huge profit.

But as a dump then came in crypto market, for every investor it was really a great shock.

What you people say about this topic ?

I wouldn't think or maybe suggest people do that thing. Because like what OP said, if there is a dump it means will shock investors so for me i will only follow basic rules in trading or investment. Always use money that we already lose, and of course i wouldn't sell my house or anything important to my life into investment because to analyze i am not good and although professional traders sometime made a mistake and i not want really bad thing happen to my life.

Lots of people tend to confuse the word investing and will apply it to many things that it is not. There is little hard evidence that Bitcoin will have a much brighter future and it is actually much tougher for the price to rise in future because such large sums of money is required to move the price. However if you were to invest in a company like Coca Cola for example and do a bit of research to discover it sells 100 million bottles a year, having increased that by 5% year after year for the last 10 years, then you have a pretty solid idea of where it is going in future. Except for anomalies like Covid, which can be both a positive and a negative, that history is giving you lots of useful information on why it is paying out higher profits each year. There is no such background on why crypto moves in the way it does.

Most people that profit from investing in bitcoin are those who are in for a long time investment. Those that do short time investment are only spot trading and that is why they do not see bitcoin investment to be profitable.

Lots of people tend to confuse the word investing and will apply it to many things that it is not. sometimes taking risk depends on your level of conviction, i feel thats why these people can go this extra mile and do the seemingly impossible. its not a must to start from their level, you can start little and grow your holding but never invest what you cant afford to lose most especially because you might not be able to wait enough for recovery or profit if worst scenarios happens.

always refer to high risk high return , not everyone can do this and not advised to do that though.
it was all the sweet stories, look at the otherside where a teenager suicide due crypto investment, a guy divorced due this , depressed people using loan money but get hits hard in crypto trading and many more dark sides of crypto investment.
the key is to keep your prespective in both sides so you'll get a better judgement whether are you ready to go all in with these risks or just to play it safe.

Investing in crypto is always risky. Just as there are profits to investing in crypto, there is also a risk of substantial loss. I think you should never invest all your resources in crypto. You can invest step by step.

Invest what you can only afford to lose. Risking everything you have to buy a speculative asset that is highly volatile is a very dangerous move because we can't really tell exactly if that coin will appreciate or depreciate the moment you need your funds in cold cash already. If you're going to invest, set your limit and boundaries. Do not be so obsessed about it because you can end up being broke later on if you will not be strategic and if you will disregard risk assessment and management before and during your investment. Diversify as much as possible because it's a great strategy to maximize your cash flow. Do not be impatient, but do not be greedy as well.

You can start it off little by little if you prefer or you can start it big time too. Just make sure that the money you will invest is the amount you will not be depressed on if things don't go the way you planned them to be.

I feel that the risk of selling all the assets and then exchanging them for bitcoin is a big risk. However, the method they used was successful, both getting rid of the big risk and earning a worthy return. All I can say is, the risk you take will be worth it if it works. But that's really crazy and just the YOLO movement imo, something really bad if they don't own it. own some money after buying bitcoin.

My main job salary not much, and i am start to made investment from little by little. If that family only buy bitcoin without any analysis, maybe their luck is very high or maybe they really dare to bet all their assets into crypto which nobody can't predict where price will go. But if they profit, congratulate to them. But that is not my style when made an investment.

No one expected Bitcoin to peak like that last year, It's not a good idea to invest all your money at once to Bitcoin, the problem is, the price hasn't made a full dump, no one can actually give you a clear assurance if the price is going down or going up, if you do want to play it safe and gain profit, start by investing a little with all your assets, keep track of the market at all times and make decisions, the risks/problems are still present even if you want to play it safe of course.

At the moment it wouldn't be adviceable to sell off all you have to purchase bitcoin, you should only risk what you can afford to lose. No one is certain about bitcoin price for now. We all anticipate for another bull run but no one knows when this would happen currently bitcoin is bearish and how long this would last no one knows.

Have u thought what would happen if you sell off everything and bitcoin keeps going down how would you meet up your bills? Buy with a reasonable amount and hold for the future so you can still go about your normal business without considering what you have left on your wallet
