You might be right, but base on my little experience in cruptocurrency altcoin rise as bitcoin rises the major difference is that bitcoin rise in geometric rate, altcoin rise arithmetic or below arithmetic rate, so that is just the difference, so I don't dispute the fact of alt season without bitcoin, only time will tell. Most of coins respond to the fluctuation  in the price of Bitcoin the upward or downward and over the past few days the Bitcoin has been in an uptrend which I think is the reason why a lot of altcoins are going up. However if you were to consider the Macro timeframe of bitcoin prices the structure has already broken into a downtrend last month and the upward push could Simply Be A retracement before the bear market starts officially so I will be careful by investing altcoins now and always sell take profit as the price goes up

Yes but what we also have to consider is that when an alt coin gains 30% in a week or even a month that is huge these days. Take whatever coin you want, let's take BNB or Litecoin for the sake, they have such a gigantic market cap already that we are already in a bull state when others doubt it and are still expecting too much. Always to hear such prediction "to the moon" when seeing the trend going up. People are expecting a continuous market incline when seeing this, maybe they are right or wrong knowing that we are in the market volatility.

Although we can see that most of the altcoins are in following the trend of Bitcoin, showing a positive response, we should be careful on what coins to invest in. I don't think there is an altcoin season at this time there is still bitcoin that continues to rise, why do I see there has not been a significant increase for altcoins, there is indeed a slight increase in eth but that is the effect of eth burning not because of BTC

I don't know about a full alt season again upon us.  Just had a couple good run ups, would be crazy to have another one.  I'm ready for it but cautioning against it.  Could be a massive bull trap.  Markets can't keep going up can they?

It really looked like it is because it is. Just when bitcoin hits its high, then the altcoins will also have their moments for their own season. And that's exactly what we're seeing today.

This is not really rocket science. Everybody already knows that altcoins pump after BTC price goes up. Bitcoin has gone up to $50k recently and we are also seeing some altcoins have huge gains. Cardano is one of those coins that have seen a new all time high. I do not own many altcoins but my portfolio has been doing really well in recent days.

I think Alt coins rally is  in the making but not started yet, it will start when BTC price is stable above 50K and Bitcoin Dominance comes down to 41% the Rally will start in full swing and Alt coins holders will havest huge reward of their holdings.  Some coins are showing good performance like ADA, BNB, DOT, LINK and many mores but they are still below their previous ATH.

Most of altcoins Will follow the bitcoin trend. For now, BTC is a mother of all Coin. If you want to keep your money safe when bearish market come, you can change your altcoins into stablecoins. Most stable coins won't be affected by bitcoin situation.
