Hard forks are possible but they would have to gain the majority vote which has proven difficulty in the past when there has been major changes and there are doubts about the change. You are probably right that it is unlikely that Bitcoin changes drastically but there is a possibly it does change via a hard fork.

I agree, but at the same time, they can invest in alts in order to sell them at a higher price and buy more Bitcoin. It doesn't make much sense these days that the king of all cryptomoneys is undoubtedly leading the way, but who knows, if we saw a decoupling that risk could bring better returns.

It's not that easy, BTC may fall down to 70% off if bear market starts now, I'm also sure that many bad news will come that will eventually lead people into panic mode and there will be massive sell off, the real deal is if this happens will you be strong enough to still hold?

This couldn't be any more true. In the 2018-2020 bear market, where I solely held BTC, I couldn't give a crap when it dropped to 3k, knowing that it will go back up someday. Now that we're borderline 'somewhat' in a bull market, that I'm back to having altcoin bets to increase my stack, I've been a lot more restless. Bear markets are honestly a lot more relaxing.

Bitcoin indeed is a good place to start for newbies hence they should take consideration first of learning about it and other coins. As they get more knowledge about crypto, they should decide afterwards then if they are going to focus on investing in bitcoin alone or choose to diversify their investment on different altcoins too. Knowledge is power, as long as they are eager to learn each day, they will have the capability to make the right decisions and to do the best course of action for them to be successful regardless of their short stay in the crypto world.

That's the point I like in your post. Newbies should enter Bitcoin first rather than invest in any other shit coins. Due to a lack of crypto knowledge newbies thought they could make money from shitcoin soo quickly. But they were unaware of the risk that they could be lost everything in this hype. We know very well about Bitcoin trends, holding Bitcoin will not drive you to loss if you have patience. Somedays Bitcoin would recover the price. But some shitcoin never recover, I have a real experience in my life and this was a costly lesson.

Holding Bitcoin is rather safe than Altcoin for newbies might be accurate, however as a human we tend to find a way to seek for bigger profits. For newbies, don't forget to learn and do research before taking any decision. FYI, we can gain profits from both Bitcoin and Altcoin cause we can go ping pong from bitcoin to altcoin and vise versa. Which other best alternative are on your mind that are best than bitcoin in any terms whether it's return or security ? There are load of shitcoins available in the market and newbies investors got into hype trap which is true and in hope of earning huge profits in short span add such shitcoins in their portfolio which will devalue their initial investment so it's better to invest in bitcoin.

That's absolutely true. But most of the people joining the crypto community are joining because of the high returns that cryptocurrencies give when compared to other assets.
I have seen completely new people to crypto asking if he should invest in Dogecoin. This shows that people are just getting involved because of the hype around crypto.
