Thats right. However some newbie are so itchy to get their hands on sweet profits so easy which ended up losing instead of gaining. Ive saw a lot of greedy traders that invest huge money and losses their fund. First of all, not all projects are gonna pump and will give you % right away. If you dont study what you invest with then surely you will lose.

Your patience should be worth it based on the coins that you're going to hold. If you're not holding those valuable coins and you're just putting your hope and luck through those coins that are not valuable, you're both wasting your effort and money from it and as well as your precious time. Yes, many of the altcoins are not worth to wait but some only notable are there that are good for long term. Sometimes some unexpected altcoins that are literally not worth it are also pumping but they're dangerous to own because they're prone to pump and dump.

The patient dog eat the fattest bone cool fact but you actually need to DYOR before waiting too long for some shit projects or you might just end up wasting your time. I know of a friend that sold out his NEAR at 1.8USD he was just in a hurry that he needs money and NEAR isn't going anywhere so he sold out lmao now the regret is deep 4.8usd now I believer more in holding I've been holding sol since 2usd till date $80

Lose the Chance to bigger profit you say? Na not for me, every profits is fine with me, I've wasted so much time and effort waiting for a massive pump on the coins I'm holding so that I can cash out big but always end badly, everything turn around when I started taking profits, maybe it's just me? I’d been a holder before I starred trading and there were times I regretted not trading before qhen the market is still high in a specific coin. So better be flexible in what coin we have, they miggt be good in long term or in short term only.

Maybe we can blame those who teach that crypto market is a 'get rich scheme', that why investors specially newbies tend to not have the patience for the project to grow overtime and decided to sell when they are at a loss. I'm seen it during the last 4 years of myself really involving in cyrpto sphere.

One good example could be BNB or ADA, who suddenly grows so much in the last year or so. If people have this coins and think that it won't grow, then for sure they have regret their decisions if they have sold them prior to it's bull run.
