It's always good to give a try, yesterday I was bored and I decided to try things out on my 3070ti which is a LHR card, LHR has been unlocked by NB miner 39.0 and I was getting 52MH but I discovered something new yesterday, I hope you guys can give this a try and get better hashrate

Go into your hiveOS flight sheet settings, click edit and click on setup miner config, find extra config arguments and use the following "lhr": "69" this increase my 3070ti to 55.50MH, it works for 3080 LHR too

Well yeah its in the notes of the miner update.  You can set it all the way up to 100 but 68 is the default as most GPU's wont have any issues or crash at 68%.  I've been able to push to 72 on some GPU's.

I can only go as high as 69 anything over this will trigger the LHR and hashrate will start going lower, @P00P135 are you using RTX3070ti ? Can you share your core clock and memory clock or you using default settings?

Not all LHR cards will accept "69" some even works for some minutes and later crash or locked LHR back to default, most graphic cards did well at "68" for the unlocked LHR to stay unlocked

For the moment many of the miners are trying to unlock the Lhr as it started with Lolminer with the RTX 3060 which unlocked some of its locked power and now NBMiner came up with the unlock in RTX 3070 ti,these are really good signs and improvements so we only have to wait and if I get a really good offer for a Lhr card I would buy it knowing that most probably in the near future they will be unlocked by many miners and I am sure many programmers are working toward removing the Lhr.

Miners aren't removing LHR.(unless Nvda....) anytime soon
Lhr kick in when around 70 % of the memory controller is busy.
Lol is doing it since months but at the moment there is no way in sight to overcome it. And it doesn't make sense to spend to much time to increase 1/2 %

I believe 1 or 2% increase in hashrate matters, if 1% hash can do 0.5$ that makes sense when you have more than one GPU, to me 1MH in ten places makes 10MH, how is every inch of hashrate not matter?

The new batch yes it is.It is very difficult to find a new RTX 3060 ti non LHR while for RTX 3080 you maybe a bit more lucky and manage to find one but for the 3060 ti is impossible to buy it new non-LHR now.I would still buy it used non LHR though as it does pretty well at 58-60 Mhsh for 120 watt power consumption.

The LHR are easy to spot though, each brand has its own code, for example Gigabyte rev 1.0 is non-LHR card while rev 2.0 is a LHR card.

It's easier to detect a LHR gigabyte GPU, the difference is just v1.0 and v2.0 and also in my country many GPU sellers still have non LHR versions available for sell I'm surprised you said they are scarce, the reason I'm not buying is because of bear market

You can use "70" now with NBminer 39.1 version, this have also unlock 1-2% of LHR cards, NBminer teams are really working hard on this, my rtx3060ti now gives me 57MH but bounce around within 55 and 57mh range, very good NBminer team very good

Does that apply to the Waterforce models too?

As you can see from this link here it is the same for the Waterforce models too.Gigabyte keep using revision 1.0 for non-LHR cards and revision 2.0 for LHR cards, with this brand you can distinguish really easily what you are buying.

All gigabyte GPUs have same identification on them, non LHR gigabyte cards have rev 1.0 on them and LHR ones has rev 2.0 on them, most of my cards are gigabyte though I don't have the water force version but if the carton says rev 1.0 I guarantee you it's non LHR

You forgot to write that this also increases energy consumption by almost 2 times. You also need to calculate which algorithm will be more profitable. If you have a farm of 5-6 video cards, then you need to use an additional power supply.
In this mining mode, the life of the video card is reduced.
