Determining the altcoin of the week is extremely difficult if the requirements are strict for 9000 coins.  Lol, maybe Sol, Avax, Ocean it's having impressive growth.  But the light will be Avax, which is completely isolated and what provides support against the bitcoin trend as it corrects. Sol > 70%, Ocean > 40%, Avax >170%

The crypto market is indeed in a good situation especially Bitcoin which continues to increase in price towards $50K. Likewise with some Altcoins. Solana is one of the altcoins that gained almost 100% this week. August 15 Solana's price is $44 but at this time Solana's price has increased to $75. Holders of sol and ada are in great profit in this week, i particularly like sol performance, it has the ability go up faster, sol has a strong community support, there is also LLN which is not very known to many people because it is not on coinsmarketcap or coingecko just yet, i have taken a notice with the token since the bounty campaign (didn't take part though) only put it on my watch list and to my surprise this token as risen tremendously within a few weeks and to top it all, not on cmc or cg only community driven.

You should have started the thread by putting the list and date just like a table or even if not a table but a list that contains the name of the cryptos, price and the date. Just like the overview that you see on the Service Discussion for designers and signature campaigns.
If you have that type of idea, I think you have to maintain it weekly since you're focused with altcoin of the week. But if you can't then that's like leaving this thread with discussion and let the visitors go through the posts and read everything that we say about the pumps that recently happened.

After the ETH2.0 hardfork we have an interesting whole trend of altcoins getting stronger, trading volume also increasing.  I see that the altcoin fomo is gaining momentum again.  Sol, Avax, Near, Rune are all performing well, conversely NFT genres have not had much of a surge this week.

Solana's biggest influence right now is very big, a lot has happened, a big pump, because it's so big, with all of that, it can be seen that the price of Solana has gone up so high, it's no wonder that Solana has a huge selling price. Solana will continue to go up so much that has happened the main factor that makes the price go up faster so Solana will go up as soon as will make the price keeps going up.

The coins are not yet going to the moon but increase slowly following the bitcoin price.
If the altcoin season comes again this year, it could attract the price to increase, but there are no estimates when the altcoin increases and we can only predict.
But if the bitcoin price can jump to the highest price and break $50k-$60k, that will give the altcoin to increase.

Cardano is really having a bullish market, now it's in third position successfully beaten BNB although many people are using BSC for its cheap fee and ETH alternative.
The price of Cardano keeps increasing, I don't think if BNB can get its position back again because it seems BNB market cap is increasing very slowly, but BNB can also have sudden bullish market just like Cardano.

Really last week as a great week for some coins and it also in a way brought back good market sentiment as seen of course in the prices of some coins. I believe SOL took the lead where it hit an ATH, and not only that, the growth of SOL brought attention to its ecosystem tokens thus many of them were seen pumping as well, who knows if the market continues in same manner it will turn out good for SOL holders.
Secondly ADA is another coin which had the attention and growth, and it would have been better if there were already more projects on its blockchain, nevertheless the team seems to know what they are doing. Ethereum and Binance coin also made their moves, in fact it was as if top coins where making good moves and with Bitcoin taking the lead currently where it passed $50k, then it shows that more fomo might likely start taking place and more growth of these coins will start being experienced.

bitcoin will always lead and other alcoins will always follow it that will change, starting this month the crypto market has started to recover maybe this is the beginning of the crypto market starting to recover.

PVU - Plants versus Undead. From $11 last week August 17 to $20 yesterday and now at $18. That's a big leap for me and I guess investors keeps on coming in.
Playing the game is fun but if you have money you can just invest with their land sales and plant some seeds giving you profits for a certain amount of time for each plant.
I didn't have that much money so I just stayed being a farmer and trying to win the game with pure hard work and effort at watering the landlord's plants and scaring their crows. Thankfully, I am already at ROI, so everything from hereon will be profits.

If you think about all the coins weekly then you are going to be very upset in the long run. Yes this week has been a great week for the crypto world and coins like Avax or Sol ended up going much higher than anything else did this week, but that doesn't change the fact that you should never look at a thing just because it had a great week, that usually is the last thing you should do because that may mean that it already did all the increase it could do and will not do the same in the future.

This is why I honestly believe that we should probably get away from crypto as much as we should when it is bulling so hard and we should look into the ones that has a potential to increase not already increased. Of course this is a very scary thing to do because why look at a thing that failed to go up when all others did, but it is the only way to make money from the potential unrealized then realized.
