This forum is actually helpful in terms of information, knowledge and experiences shared from other users but, if you don't try it yourself, no matter what you read, won't make you much better. Being a successful trader takes time and patience, not many can actually achieve that.

A good post to talk about, same thing happens to me, when I entered trading no one can believe that I can make that much profit and money. trading today is a lot harder actually than what it was back in 2016 where only a few people spread fuds and they are just invented by the people in the forum but these are also the people who set up buy and sell walls on the exchanges. times change with bigger community.

people doubt you when you have not achieved anything. they only notice you when you become productive. get your kid a monitor for a chart to analyze because he could be your best hope to trade along with the pump and dump groups.

So, I have a similar situation, but with my uncle. When he found out that I was making money by trading and investing in cryptocurrency, specifically bitcoin, he immediately asked me how he was going to convert his pesos into BTC. Fortunately, bitcoin was around 18k when he started, and it's quite surprising that he hold it, making a 400 percent return.

Now, It's kinda cool to see him checking the price action while consistently doing Dollar Cost Averaging (DCA). And it is true that they need some sort of proof to believe in something new, especially since bitcoin is a computer program that most non-technical middle-aged people find difficult to believe because they have no idea such thing exists.

You have exposed your child rightly to have an independent source of income from an early stage, this is an advantage to you and your family because your family will grow in it and will master it even better than you because kids have a way to create, innovate and be better with technology. correct, no one will believe in such things unless if you show some proof to get their attention wherein in order to convince them that you're really making money in it.. To be fair, anyone I spoke to found the crypto world to be nothing but a large bubble that they think is nothing more than a scam.

And, you're right, they don't believe until they see for themselves that the space can be as lucrative as any other fast paced industry, but with the benefit of enabling entry for almost anyone (as long as they have internet).

Also, it is true that to get involved you don't have to understand everything as this is more that you need to learn with time, and it is not that hard as long as you want to learn it.

It's similar to how people don't care how hard you studied if you cannot score enough marks. I still remember when my result for high school came out, I was nervous because honestly I didn't do well but somehow I got awkwardly good marks and everyone seems to appreciate my efforts which in all honestly, were never there (the efforts).

For such a young age, Its a good feat by OP to instill in his child ~ the zeal to make money. Kids with such upbringing end up not relying entirely on either their parents, family or friends because they know that there are always opportunities in the market that he can take advantage of and make money and that's a really good thing IMHO. Also, if there's a competition later in the family, it's good because healthy competition is good and can help stir more success since everyone will have enough motivation to work with. You are lucky because there are many people that have shown to their families the potential benefits they could have gotten out of bitcoin and they did not believe them even with the evidence right in front of them and their families still thought that bitcoin was a scam, I know it is difficult to believe but it happens and it is not difficult to understand why, people like to be right and if you can prove them wrong instead of appreciating this new found knowledge they are going to be mad about it as you are showing them they could have earned a lot of money just like you did and they are unhappy about their lack of results.

We don't need to struggle teaching them, if they had a deeper interest on cryptocurrency they'll be reaping what they're sowing. If we're teaching a child or even older person that depends on how interested are they. Without courage and determination, I think involvement in trading won't work out sustainably.

There's so many scams online related business that I don't blame people that doubt me when I try telling them about bitcoin. Ponzi' scheme was a disease in my country that any business not minding how authentic they looked later turned out to be scam and crypto was there major go to currency in convincing investors to invest with them. With this trend it became hard to convince people that the technology is authentic and the scammers are just talking advantage of its unique features to scam.

Over time, it because clearer to them that the industry is actually real and you can make a lively off just holding (investing) or trading cryptocurrency and not by patronizing all those scams out there disguise to be offering authentic services. It took some proof for those i have earlier introduced the industry to, to believe me but now they're finding it difficult to get into since they're iff the opinion that they're late.

Still taking some convincing for them to engage as if they miss this widow then it could be really late as the market is moving at high speed, we're already trading almost over $50k and soon will be trading at the $100k price

Ah! Come on bro, we are entering the real adoption phase and yeah I am not against cashing some profits but no way the market can crash from here. It may go down and up like always but a complete crash is nearly impossible according to me.

Maybe if Bitcoin comes too stable in price, it would prompt us traders to took for other coins but there is no way this crypto bubble is going to burst anytime soon because even the biggest companies are adopting the blockchain technology.

Maybe it's not possible for a children to know and understand trading because they are exposed on it like my child. Every day my son saw what I was doing and sometimes I asked what the current price was, whether it was still low or high and my son told me what he saw on my pc which was always open to the trading platform . And then, it's especially fun to trade like you said as if there is competition within your household as to who will earn the most.

You know, nowadays it’s not just adults who are exposed to computers and online activities. So it is also inevitable that they will be exposed to crypto because they see that in us. And sometimes they are even smarter than us. Believe it or not, my 4 year old child is good at using a computer so he can easily understand what I do about trading.  Maybe you just misunderstand what I mean about what I said that "my child  knows how to spot buying and selling".  Maybe he doesn't know much yet, but he knows where to buy and sell and what the value is, is a big deal for me.

People does have different reaction and views towards things and due to lots of scams and frauds that do exist on the market not just on crypto or lets say into those traditional investments that we had seen in the past and it did turn out to be a scam or fraud then people would really be having that kind of impression whenever they do find out something new into their ears.

They wont really believe until they would see some results and thats the time they would tend to dive in when they do see some cash or totally  you've been earning but as a person who do get tired on sharing up
then you would really be finding this to be a hassle thing.

I agree that there is absolutely no way that bitcoin would crash into oblivion, even when it had a 50% crash that was a period to make money because we had like 60% profit right after that and now around 50k prices, which means that even the drops are a way to make money in this market. This is why I do agree that people are not cold on bitcoin right now, everyone knows that even if it goes down there is a chance you could make money from it which causes the prices to go back up and that's what I believe will happen in the future if there is a drop as well.

Quick recovery on the falls is what we can ask for, when it goes down tiny bit, it takes very short period of time to get better, and when there is a huge fall like the one we had where it went down 50% it still took a month or two to recover and this gives people a lot of hope and they end up buying more.

most of us here started from scratch esp when we were still a newbie in crypto. definitely, we started as noobs here. and thru time, we learn little by little on how to handle crypto. so there's no age restrictions here, when you can start. even kids can start learning basic trading words and movements. actually, they are lucky if they start at a very early age. they will value the money more because they know how much effort someone need to exert just to get such profit. if you have the will to learn on this aspect, there's no difficult task if you want something to achieve for yourself.

Honestly it is definitely something that people should not be worried about because if they do not want to get involved then let them not get involved, I do not care about it at all and adoption is not going to happen by forcing people to learn about trading. Plus trading is not the only way to make money, there are now people who spend basically nothing to just earn crypto, and that has been the case for a very long time, and I do not mean freelancers that work hard to earn money which is understandable and normal but I mean people who literally just do unqualified work to get that money.

This is simply just the way of crypto, there are so many people who are willing work as long as you pay them just a small amount of money, $10 a day and you get yourself a full on assistant that will do all kinds of work and that is the great part about crypto, it is connecting people all around the world.

Your initial step into crypto is full of errors. It's best if you still don't know anything about cryptocurrencies or trading, don't enter the market because it will only waste your money. as well as your friends who are getting interested.

Trading is also not the only thing that people use to earn money in crypto. there are many other easier jobs.

Sometimes trading can hurt traders who do not have sufficient experience and knowledge or have no education in finance at all. The OP's family will be disappointed if they lose their money. As a father, he should be in charge of budget replenishment and savings.

I was a little surprised that OP's son can trade coins on cryptocurrency exchanges. In my opinion, if a four-year-old boy can count up to ten, this is a significant achievement. In other words, his kid can count up to a million and even a billion. Perhaps this boy will be an infant prodigy.

If you can just show it to them and prove that what you have said is the truth, then they are going to believe you immediately. I used to work in hotels and I was doing very badly, I was earning minimum wage and I was married as well with parents that were retired and in bad financial situation as well. I had to take care of so many things and I was doing very badly with the small amount I was making and I hated every second of my job as well, around those days I got into crypto and I managed to make a bit of money there but not too much, just enough to see there was money to be made there.
