Eth is my favorite Altcoin and I believe in its potential but it takes a lot of patience to know and understand the cryptocurrency market
I think the best thing is to keep moving forward and we will see where the price of Ethereum goes.

Holding eth especially for long term is a good decision, the second largest coin after btc is not a small thing to overlook, the price of eth can easily touch 5k by year end if btc keep performing well, eth is top project and a must have in any wallet, and I like eth because of it's quick recovery ability, eth has a big support and user base as well, I believe some day eth can be as high as btc current price.

This is always possible to come when their plans of ethereum upgrade will become successful, and I believed $5k was just a good start in order to be considered profitable.
Predictions is really doing great and remarkable milestones while the market continuously growing and hitting all targets without further circumstances.

$5k level is actually achievable for eth in short period of time. I don't think we will wait for another 3 years or so just to see this price level. If we will see the impact of this London hard fork and finally see cheaper fees in eth network, maybe, we will see the price of eth rising at a very good rate. The current issue is with the fees and usually when the fee is high, the price of Ethereum must be high too but I think staying on $3k is already high for the sake of the fees.

But despite that issue, there's still a lot of investors that would willing to buy it due to the upgrades that have ever been given to it.

I am also optimistic like you that the target price of $5k can be achieved in the near future, there is no need to wait until the next few years.
Since Ethereum is currently above $3k price, which if the current bullish trend could continue until the end of the year, It is very likely that Ethereum
will go up to $5k by the end of this year. Moreover,  the london hard fork effect did help trigger the price of Ethereum to rise, then related to
Ethereum gas fees have decreased significantly compared to a few months ago. This means that Ethereum will slowly regain investors trust,
and this is a good thing that can trigger the price of Ethereum to rise even higher.

ETH has been in a very busy bullish race, because now the direction of the BTC market points to bullish, therefore ETH has had growth up to 3200USD, but yesterday the bears have been able to make an effort to lower it until the 3180USD that is for now, if things go well I calculate that it can reach 3500USD if BTC reaches $ 50k, because the emotions in the bulls will buy much more:

Now wait for a good pump at least at $ 5k, it is likely that it can happen, however to reach that price level it is likely to happen if BTC turns at least to a new ath, since ETH tends to grow very fast.

The only crazy aspect i see is that the price of Ethereum keeps on rising and it is because of the speculation that everything will be working smoothly once the upgrade is completely implemented and it might take a long time for that to happen. I am not happy with the fees and even when you trying to purchase something especially auctions, then you will loose a lot of gas fees and it is not feasible on a practical basis right now.

Once that is sorted then we can talk about these huge valuations.

Even though it might be hard for someone to accurately predict the price of Ethereum during the end of the year  let alone years to come, but from the current developments done so far, Ethereum have a more better chance of Increasing in price from this year till next, owing to the forthcoming upgrade, that is, the ETH 2.0. Nevertheless, it is also good to bear in mind that, most times the direction of the market depends on Bitcoin and the less fud, the more better it stands at giving an encouraging market for other altcoins to grow. Therefore, with Bitcoin growing in like manner, Ethereum will likely surpass $5,000 this year and will even go forward to surprising everyone even more. You're too early to celebrate, I think short timeline for ethereum increase is really impossible to commence. The current price was still on process of reaching at least $4k this month. Gas or transaction fees or whatsoever, eth would still continue to soar and the adoption will keep increasing because of its sustainability. Hopefully gas issue would be neutralized and as soon as possible, that $5k predictions would become reality.

No I dont think so that would that easy. Current ethereum price is 3112$ and it can reach 3500$ according to me and may till end of this year we can see ethereum at 4k$. But 5k$ in 2 days is not going to happen, even in two months it is not going to happen.

2021 is only a few months away. The highest Ethereum price this year will be at $4K and I think it's possible. Above $4K is not possible. The development of Ethereum in 2021 is there, but not so big.

If this bullish trend continues, Ethereum will reach $5,500 by the end of 2022. Moreover, the first half of 2022 is going to show fast growth, up to $6,000. Looking at eth price raising history we can expect ETH price 5000$ very soon. Ethereum has hit almost his all time high 4362 in may 2021 so he can achieve that target. This project has been a very good performer from early days. In 2017 we used to buy on 5 to10$ price now playing on 3000+, surely will hit that target very soon.
