If we get to have the same price cycles as the previous bull markets at the end of the year, $100k is very conservative. Even Raoul Pal is predicting $200k EoY if my memory serves me right lol. But then again, it's a huge 'if'.

ethereum is indeed a good coin but all altcoins are always affected by the movement of bitcoin and almost don't seem to be able to move on their own. if I really believe that what you say could be true and will happen, but I believe more that it will happen at the end of this year. The movement of bitcoin to reach renewable ATH is quite fantastic, so other altcoins will follow suit.

Not sure if the good news from big companies is pushing the price or it's the other way around. If we are going to look at the S2F modelling, bitcoin can even hit $100k at the end of the year. I know it's a long shot but that model seems to be align and on schedule. I can't speak about Ethereum though, it's also on the bullish phase after it's hard fork, surpassing $3k and then sustaining it's growth.

In any case, if the bull run continue up to the beginning of 2022 then there is a big possibility that we can hit these predictions easy.

That's a good point but technically shitcoins are always pumping all year long even during the bitcoin bear market there are shitcoins that are pumping (then of course it all ends by dumping). The difference is that sometimes the bigger shitcoins get pumps and as you said there is a surge in shitcoin creation (with things like ICOs and nowadays NFTs) so the market cap ratio (which people naively call dominance) changes more than usual.

It's a great feeling to read or listen to people FOMO on Bitcoin. As a Bitcoin enthusiast I find it welcoming. However, to FOMO on Bitcoin isn't where the whole thing ends. It's the realization of it that matters. Truth be told, I'm not bullish on Bitcoin next year. History has taught me to expect bearishness a year after every post Bitcoin year and I'm sticking to that. To that end, I don't see how Bitcoin can do $100,000 next year if it doesn't do it this 2021. There's going to be a descent on the price level in 2022.
