I was searching for "bitcoin block number" an this is what I found as a Google ad.

Usually I do not click on any kind of ads when I receive anything from Search Engine. I am too paranoid to click something that could cost me later. Obvious the main domain is:

Can anyone confirm me that it is really from Blockchain.com or a fake page when you visit the site.

How it could be a legit from blackchain.com? If you closely see the link you will find wrong spelling there.

I am pretty sure this is also a fake phishing site ads what we generally see in google ads. So don't think it legit and avoid to click. If it would legit then at least the domain should be blockchain.com

I have also tried the same keyword. It did not show up to me also. Don't know what the reason either it's already stopped or Showing on other locations.

Search Engine robots need to be upgraded, especially Google adwords. Billion-dollar company, but they lack in basic? This is interesting to me. They should have reviewed the ads manually instead of using the useless robots.

Sorry, I should've been more clearer, but by "those keywords", I meant those you've included inside the code tag, as opposed to what you've searched on google ^{[perhaps that's also the case with sujonali1819]}.

As long as they're getting paid for selling an ad spot, they'll continue accepting such ads ^{[despite what they've said before]} until someone reports it:

Another example why Google is a shitty company and not to be used for anything. Not for email, not for storage, and not even for websearch. They just let fraudsters advertise on their first page, pathetic..
I don't understand how not everyone is using DuckDuckGo and StartPage by now.
I personally like to use DDG and if it doesn't bring a good result, I add the !sp tag to my search query, which is very quick and brings me to the StartPage results directly.

I'm pretty sure both of these also serve ads (not sure though), but I also would advise everybody to use Pi-hole and uBlock Origin which together, remove all ads and trackers completely in my experience.

Even if you're cautious enough not to click such ads, there's a very real risk of losing your privacy and security by trackers that are embedded in like 99.99% of websites, so even if you're a smart 'browser', I'd still recommend using the above methods to make your web surfing escapades a good bit safer.

People like customized experiences and companies like Facebook, Google makes business from it. It's a choice you make. Some know the possible consequences and most of them do not even know that there are such things exits except Google, Bing etc when it's about search engine.
