Hi

I've been GPU mining for a year now and i've switch to Asic miner early 2021 with an A10Pro 7g

It was my first experience with an Asic and everything went smoothly and i'm really happy with it. The temps are good, the revenu were great, and it never really crashed until 2 week ago.

I've receive my second Asic, a S19. I had already dealt with the power/heat situation and the only thing that I needed to do was put it in place and plug it.

So after couple minutes that the S19 is working, the A10 pro restart itself! take 5-10 minute before it starts to hash again (Alway do that when it starts), 6-8 minutes later, same thing happens. It restart itself and the loop goes on, alway 6-8 minute after the A10 Pro start Hashing.

I unplug the S19 and the A10 pro stop restarting itself and become fully stable like before. Let it go for 1-2 days just to see if there was a problem but the A10 pro is super stable. As soon as the S19 is plug, 6-8 minutes later the A10 pro restart and do this crazy cycle.

I've written to innosilicon (still no anwser) and Antminer. At first they say I need to put a router dedicated for the miner (got the R8000 Netgear), I still get the problem. Now they think it's the power. But they each have their own breaker for themself so I doubt it.

I've been trying to figure out what to do for the last 2 week and now i'm a bit lost so if anybody think about something that could help me I would be grateful.

If you need any more information for the setup let me know and i'll try to be precise with me anwsers!

Again thank a lot

Will either mine no issue without the other on?

I know you stated it works with just the A10…does the S19 mine by itself ok?

And can you link one to another network..say one to mobile for test and one to the ethernet….to see if its some how doing it via network.

Power sounds likes its fine…assume you have the needed watts available at the panel….can you confirm?

Both of them mine perfectly fine without the other miner being on, and both have different breaker. First one(A10Pro) has 15 amp/110 and Second one (S19) works on 20amp/220, Main breaker is a 200Amp.

I really doubt that it is a power issue, but if nothing works, I might put one of the two miner on my appartement Panelboard. It has a 100Amp on it and i'm currently using a total of 30 Amp on my panel.

(**I'm not stealing someone else electricity, I have a deal with the owner and I pay my share of electricity from his panel**)

I'm gonna try to put them on two different router this morning (luckly I had spare one) (received an email from Inno and they suggested that)

Will give more info later

Thanks everyone

So After Putting another router for the second asic miner (S19), I still get the crash from the A10 Pro after 6min
They both had a individual router
I do not have any clue from where to go now.
If anyone has any idea.
Thanks in advance

Two possibilities come to mind. A power issue seems more likely. You seem confident it isn't but it's
better to test and be sure. Since only the A10 is having problems maybe it's PSU is marginal.

The second is a stretch but easy to test. EMI could be spewing from the S19. If they're close together try separating
them.

Hi everyone!

So after many days of trying different option in my free time, I think I have a stable setup! The 2 miners have been running together for an hour which was never done before...

First, Thanks JayDDee, you gave me cue that probably fix the whole thing!

The power from the panel was not an issue, but I've search online and found out that some people had to change their PSU. Mine was getting pretty hot, so I decided to open up the box and clean it. It still get pretty hot but I think it help. I decided to remove the "performance" setting from the A10Pro and set it to factor preset. Already the PSU was still hot but still got better.

The second thing I did was putting the miners next to each other instead of one over the other. I'm not sure if that was causing any problem but still wanted to mention it since JayDDee talked about EMI.

But after all the test, I'm pretty sure its the PSU from the A10 pro that is starting to weaken. It's the APW7 from Bitmain. The fan doesn't really push enough air and I'm thinking about adding one to pull the air out since it is still pretty hot.

Let's hope it stays stable!

Again Thx anyone who tried to help, I really appreciated it
