The biggest reason to HODL BTC is the supply and demand logic associated with it which has been proven to be true on multiple occasions over time.

There are many other reasons to HODL BTC in the long-term, but very few actually have the patience and the willpower to HODL for a long period of time.

If this weren't the case, we would have observed so many early crypto investors becoming millionaires or billionaires after the crazy rallies in recent times. However, only a handful of investors managed to become rich in this manner.

I agree, and it's something we can't deny! Even people who entered XRP in the early days are harvesting profits, so it's about timing as well! Many coins and tokens have a lot higher prices than in their beginnings, the projects are being developed, and some of them are really great, it's something that is visible, they are making progress and from time to time many coins hit new prices records!

I can't say that I am an advisor at all, I had many good and bad hits, I am just an ordinary guy trying out things around! And it's how I learn, I paid my school that's for sure... but we can't be blind and not see many good projects around with great potential!

Here's a simple reason that I believe is why I am still hodling bitcoin, it's because what I have today might be double or even triple in months if not years or it could also be years plus it's a good way to make your money grow, having nothing to do with it, you can let it stay there for a long period of time and hopefully expect it to go up.

You are also missing the part that BTC doesn't shed it's skin like other projects who later change chain a year or two later, BTC will remain BTC with zero worries of changing smart contract like many altcoins, I've lost some money this way.

The simple reasons why I hodl is because I have faith in the revolutionary features which bitcoin offers and in addition, its long-term upward movements. The past 12 years attest to this. It really comes along way now that gives comfortability to others as were anle to get profit by juat waiting or hold. Im still mad for the fact I sell some of my BTC beforre but glad I was able to trade using the profit from it.

The opportunity that Bitcoin brings is the reason most people choose to hold or invest in it but there's no need to be sad because you sell your holding at some point and we just need to also understand that if we don't use Bitcoin as a currency it may not fulfill its obligation.

I think two main reasons are the limited supply and the fast-growing popularity of bitcoin. People think bitcoin will be much more demandable in the future and because of its very limited supply, they won't be able to buy bitcoin in the future so people disagree to sell any of their bitcoin no matter what the price is. They think what they are investing in today could be life-changing for them in the future.

People are right to think that bitcoin's going to be in demand in the future, it's the low supply that makes it expensive and the more popular it becomes as you've stated, more people will want to have some bitcoin. I am still hoping the price will not just be the reason for anyone to hodl it.
Assets had been the first reason, it's the same as holding gold as they said.
But it's a currency in the end, no matter how we put it. My wish is to use it with my everyday needs and with us early adopters hoarding more we could see value in it. As I see it, the main reason people will HODL their crypto (not just bitcoin, but all other coins and tokens) is the next halving of the reward for solving a bitcoin block.  Within 18 months of that event historically the price of bitcoin rises to previously unheard of prices.  And, with the price of bitcoin rising, so too will other crypto/alts follow suit (i.e. bitcoins rise will drag other crypto's price up with it).

Bitcoin has a bright future indeed. Although a lot of people has questioned its potentials from the start, but after a decade, it's still standing high. So the reason i'm still hodling bitcoin because i believe its value will grow more in the future so it will serve as a good retirement for us. Having bitcoin as an investment is definitely worth the risk.

For now, bitcoin is not just a sole investment but it's starting to realize its main goal as a currency. As the popularity continue to expand, then we will see bitcoin being a worlwide currency in the near future.

I hold bitcoin for the main reason of appreciation. I believe that BTC's price right now is still small that it could potentially rose to a 10x in the future. Another thing is it solves inflation. Instead of saving my money in bank, I put it in BTC and watch it grow as it goes.

Trust in bitcoin has now expanded since the increase this year, even I saw a drastic increase in them investing in bitcoin even though they already knew about the risks that would be faced, namely a severe decline and an unexpected increase in a significant time.
About the doubters and haters of bitcoin, there must be even those who really don't believe it, we shouldn't look there because our views will always be different, therefore we will know better how to grow volatility better, so there are so many reasons why you should hold bitcoin.

Supply shortages is forcing the problem, the federal reserve announced that they are going to be ending their pandemic provisions and stopping aid at the federal level, but the damage is already done.

Even if you go back to the target of 2 percent inflation (which is what the federal reserve announces their target to be), the damage is done. You're already thrown away the value and merit of your currency because you can't reduce the money supply after you print it.
