I am tired of IDOs

Hello Guys! Today i am here for you clerify some subject about new generation of IDOs. I am in crypto since 2017 and as you remember generally ICOs then were FCFS method and they were less drama. Today i am eligible in lots of platforms for get involved IDOs such as ; Polkastarter, Polkafoundry Redkite, Daomaker, BSCpad, EThpad, Superlauncher, Raydium and last Avalauncher. But their lottery system is unfair and i cant get anyprojects. Todays crossswap ido was the last drop of patience for me. In ICO times if you had ETH you were okay but today i am in lots of platforms but it is really so hard to get in. Do you have any suggestion about those platforms or easier and better platform advice for me? Because i really need that.For ex; Maybe i should withdraw all my funds and focus only 1-2 platform as a gold member idk. Im open to your advices lets discuss under this thread.

If it's possible then withdraw all of your money and invest in the real coins instead of waiting for the next bitcoin.

Not familiar with the IDO which itself is enough that it's not popular enough to bring you more opportunities so there is nothing wrong with choosing the right path now.

if i remember correctly people believes that coinlist is one of the best provider on the market right now. but it requires kyc. i'd rather focus on polkadot chain project in the near future, so maybe just focus on raydium or something similar. it's all based on luck, so can't help it.

But, the result of the "IDO" is pretty big. I take a part following "IDO" from DAOMaker with a project IOI-Trade Race Manager starting price for private investor 0.2$ and public sale 0.4$ now they already reached 3,2$

Every God damn IDO platforms are a pain in the ass to participate in their presales, too strict and 100% based on luck I don't like the idea at all, my advice is invest your money on NFT projects instead, they are skyrocketing liken crazy, I have 1000 PYR that I bought for 2$ each now it's 5$ per token, do your own research

If you have enough funds to be into the top 100 hodlers, than try poolz for getting allocation easily. On the other hand, OP can try gate, mexc exchange as many IDO project also do their fund rising in there and list into those. In both case, you need to have quite huge amount of funds to be in the list. If you're really that much interested into IDOs, than join any VCs where you will be invest with them in those projects for private sale, but you need to keep in mind that there will be lockup period for vesting tokens. As always, DYOR before taking any decision.

As I know IDO platforms usually have priority queues. Different platforms have different rules, but in general you can get privileges if you have been trading on this platform (if it is possible), participated in different grants, miners or validators, and participated in previous IDOs. So you should learn what exactly can give you privilege on your platforms and focus on their requests. Also don’t forget about whitelists.

I have already given up IDOs specially in Ethereum sites because it spoils many gas fees and if not success, then sadness is only riding on the mind. In few IDOs i have been cheated and they scammed that ruined my capital. Besides this, IDO isn't popular that past couple of months. Last few IDOs, investors suffered 2x-3x losses also. So, it's time to come back from IDOs.

It is understandable to be not profitable in brand new things, brand new things are not where they are at their best because if they are really good then they will become better. You think pancake was doing awesome on their first day of release? Axie was this great on its first day? See I am not even talking about old things like bitcoin and ethereum, just saying what I am thinking about the newer things that happened in the past 1 year.

So that means if you invest into something at IDO stage, there is a good chance you would be very upset with the result, give it a few months, sure you will buy it at a more expensive price, but at the same time you are going to profit from it hell of a lot more than putting it on every IDO you find as well, it is just reasonable to expect that. What I believe would happen is that some IDO's will do good and keep you happy in short term, but long term waiting is a better option.

What a good ROI. Yeah, indeed it is a lottery system and if you are lucky enough, you can make a huge money. Sadly, many scammers are using these terms to describe their shady and deceitful projects in order to lure mor victims they can. I have seen people fail into their trap and lose hundreds to thousands dollarsw which worth many months of their savings

You might rich with IDO but there are people who lose their money. There should be regulations in order to protect innocent on the cyber world

My advice is that you better focus on a few platforms that you can really trust like BSCpad I think the platform is pretty good and use a BSC platform like pancakeswap besides you can buy tokens cheaply when IDO you can also stake the token because usually it will into pancakeswap.

There's some merit to going on platforms with the highest tier.

BSCPad (and a couple more) rather than a lottery system provide you with guaranteed allocation and obviously the higher the tier the more of the pool you get. That will eliminate launchpads with lottery systems which I agree with you are unfair, and why play that system when there are alternatives.

if you ask me, i will say you focus on that token that you wanted to buy during the IDO and buy when they get listed in the market. allow you the token to be listed on exchange and then buy the token. the price will go up whenever the time is right. i have tried this method and it works well for me. i need to rush in the market with investors during IDO. irather wait and buy from the market.

Well, what can I say?  Today , I found a project which which caught my fantasy and I decided to invest in it, behold, they were having an IDO on red kite launchpad, and this was supposed to be the first IDO I did ever participate in, but then, I was greeted with the requirements needed for me to be eligible to participate in the IDO, first I have to pass kyc which is absolutely no problem, after passing kyc, I have to purchase and stake over 500 pkf tokens which is red kite native token on Ethereum blockchain, purchasing this amount of coins which is the minimum number required is worth over 500 dollars.
After I read all this requirements, I simply gave up, cus this is clear manipulation, it makes no sense forcing investors to buy your token for them to be eligible to buy another token from your platform just because they decided to use your platform to run their fundraising campaign, this is totally unfair to the true believers of the project who can invest due to the greed of some people.

There i no point in jumping into all the platforms and it is hard to follow everything. I understand what you are planning to achieve here but the risk is far greater than you think if you keep on jumping to new projects all the time. Stick to a few platforms and that is far better than jumping ships all the time and looking for new projects. After the ICO trend i stopped looking for projects until recently and i will only look for projects that have substance and go for pre sale if the papers are great and the team is good and that is more than enough to get a decent profit.

You can't really compare 2017 ICO's craze to IDO right now. The projects have been stricter this time because they have learn their lessons already. Regarding the lottery system, I myself wasn't lucky as I have joined lots of them but no to avail, so I give up already.

Yeah, if I'm in your shoes, better to withdraw your funds and try to go for just 1-2 projects. At least if won't complicated things on your end.

Is not it better if you're joining in IEO rather than IDO, just think about this. When you're wasting all of your effort to participate in the unfair sale with lottery system that was putting who has been holding the biggest asset to get a lot of ticket and then just focus on the IEO. The more hodl and the more chance to get allocation.
I have got 1 ticket to participate in the staratlas sale on the FTX.

It's better rather than wasting your time in the garbage IDO. Even when it shows big return but if you never get an allocation and that sounds you're only wasting your time with it.
Stop it and move on. You have a lot of choices available in the market.

NFT is overhyped at the moment so, if you want to cash the hype then do invest. But this hype will not last long and anytime the bubble will burst so be cautious. If you still want to go with the IDO platform then I would suggest you concentrate on only one or two platforms. Your are dealing with more than three platforms therefore you are missing out. Shift all your amounts from these platforms to any two of your choice and then give it a try.

It's better to forget this kind of fundraising scheme to gain instant profit. i have been feeling the same like you. Too many demand in IDO and that was making people with less money can't be prioritized as the chance for the rich guy will be so big compared with people with low funds caused by they got less ticket or lottery than the rich one

The problem is when you're having a very small amount of money and how can you make a lot of money from investing in the real coin especially coin with big cap?

IDO was popular enough among the ICO investors, it's known as a place to make instant profit with big ROI. So many IDO platforms can give you 10x ROI or even more after listing.
