Bitcoin addic is good because it means we believe in bitcoin and also believe that it can be profitable. it's just how we manage it whether we will gain or even lose. it all depends on how we can handle our own assets. bitcoin is still be the primadonna of crypto where the price is currently soaring higher than several years before. This is what makes many people believe that the price of bitcoin will continue to soar and compete to own it. if we can collect btc from now and hold it well then i think it will be profitable in the future.
I understand your point mate, the trust in Bitcoin is not the reason why we have fall into addiction. Because this was a worse effect on your mental health, it was everything you want is to invest and accumulate Bitcoin and it leads to mismanaging funds.

Personally, addiction has nothing it brought good to us but mostly it leads to worse. To buy Bitcoin should stay in limitation, not unless if you don't care to lose your money which is how addiction resulted to that.

The popularity of Bitcoin is spreading day by day and people are leaning towards it. In particular, students are dropping out of school and concentrating on Bitcoin in a country  The education system is deteriorating. So the student community needs to keep itself as far away from Bitcoin as possible.

I don' think I'm addicted to Bitcoin. Well...I do think about it and like checking its price from time to time when I'm free of business. But I can also forget about it when I'm at work or hanging out with friends.
Maybe you just think too much of gain and loss. Just relax.

i can feel you mate when i first experience earning multiple profit when 2017 hype happens?

i thought that even in my dreams bitcoin or crypto is being part, there was a chance that when i was with friends? my mind is flying towards crypto and not relating to their topics.

I don't think so, why hold them back on financial freedom? Also, if the education system is worth dropping for then probably it's not the student that has the problem because if it's not a broken system then probably we would see less students dropping out because there's always a way to balance the scales in terms of hustling and studying.

I think this needs education and control from schools, bitcoin is a good thing and can be a profitable investment especially since it has been introduced since school, when they have graduated and see bitcoin balances and get big profits, schools must aim at real business so that there is a balance between bitcoin investment and real business.

From my experience and from what I have seen, the crypto market is the most addictive, because it is the most entertaining. I have also tried the traditional stock and it is all much more extensive, much more information. Here we have a smaller market, with a lot of crazy ideas but we can get all the information about the project on its own website. If you want to invest in Microsoft, the amount of information is huge and you don't have a single place to know everything . Cryptocurrencies compared to the traditional stock market seem more like a financial video game where you can earn a lot and also you are helping to change the world.

Fortunately,I am not Bitcoin addicted. In your case, I think that you work just too much and constantly look at charts, so you had better rest more. Sometimes it is really difficult to switch from work and the crypto world to family and private life. But we should do it so as not to go mad. When you are constantly following charts and news you will be very nervous.

You are very similar to me actually when i just lie down about to sleep , In my mind there are always graphs of numbers as well as what i'm dreaming about , For example , After waking up the next morning the price of BTC will rebound or vice versa . It seems like the feeling around my life is always a shadow of BTC , About all I spend 80% of my time sitting at my computer and watching the market price move, I have nothing else to do.
most of your life is spent on Bitcoin, watching the market move.
I've even spent all my life in front of a computer just to trade non-stop.
But then I realized, that things that are too excessive to become addicted like the title of this thread, are not good.
Humans as social beings certainly need to socialize. I reduce my work in front of the computer to socialize so that I can get to know the environment around me and can release stress when I continue to look at the monitor screen.

The best thing is a balanced life. trading bitcoin as the main job, but we also have to be aware that our family and the surrounding environment really need us.

I'm really happy that I'm not addicted to Bitcoin actually. Because I don't think that it is a good thing. It can cause you to manage your Bitcoin investments really poorly. The most important thing is to make your investments wisely. If you don't have a certain strategy, you might invest more and more until having no money left. And it might not end up well.

Addiction is not created overnight. And the type of addiction isn't same for every person. I have seen a few people sell their daily necessities to invest in Bitcoin.
Again, I have seen some people who have borrowed money from their relatives and lost their livelihood by doing excessive online trading, there is no doubt that they are very extreme level investors or just fools, you can call them gamblers or addicted too. Not only Bitcoin, being overly addicted to anything is not a good thing at all, Investing in Bitcoin is profitable but there is a need to maintain a limitation.

"Bitcoin addiction" This term is very new, people who invest in bitcoin by borrowing money we can't say that they are addicted to bitcoin, maybe they don't want to miss the opportunity to make an instant profit and that's why they borrowed money and also gave a portion of interest to the lender. You can borrow money to do any progressive work, so borrowing money is ok if he is skilled enough to do online trading.

When you do end up on getting bitcoin on a bad or illegal way then it would already be considered wrong but if you do accumulate on legal aspect then I don't see for it to be a problem.

Cant really blame out on why some people do really get obsessed on accumulating coins considering or looking into its potential then its not really that a surprising thing.

Addicted on the sense of investment isn't bad as long you don't do something bullshit.
When the right method can no longer be used, it is likely that people will do it the wrong way and even against the law. like crime in real life, people will do anything to get what they want even in the wrong way. I also think that the effects of bitcoin can make people very ambitious to be able to own bitcoin in a way that is against the law in the real world.

One is said to be addicted only  when their habits start resulting in negative consequences. Borrowing money for crypto trading is okay but only to some extent. As you said, Borrowing money for the fear of missing out, I don't agree that it’s fine. If a trader is spending his maximum time and amount on crypto and mindlessly trading crypto to elevate his mood, I don't consider it healthy.

Will you get addicted to Bitcoin if that is possible?

Like what other users say, I think it isn't an addiction, but an obsession with bitcoin. Addiction is something different from obsession. Addiction is being dependent on something until you can't let go and get rid of that certain thing or routine which interferes with how you behave. Meanwhile, obsession is the thought of being so caught up and preoccupied about something and it seems that you can't get it out of your mind. Addiction requires treatment to overcome. Obsession sometimes requires medication for those severe cases, but for those mild cases, diversion of attention such as recreational activity and other forms of activity will do to keep you out from being preoccupied about the thing that you are obsessing with.

I suggest you do other things such as hobbies to let your mind take a break from thinking about btc. Diversification of funds is essential. You must remember that you should not put all of your funds in one place to avoid major loss if things go worse. Also, invest what you only afford to lose. Every investment has its risks.

It might happen if you are really invested in it and have something you really anticipate about it. Obsession might happen if you are very associated with what's happening inside the market. Bitcoin price is unexpected. It's like email obsession, where you check it frequently to see if there's a new one. Some people identify bitcoin as an easy money asset; that's probably why they become obsessed with it; they want to get fast money from their investments.

I wouldn't say addiction but obsession, and this is goes more the more you are invested in it, if you are taking it seriously and using bitcoin to make a living either by trading or by putting you savings into it, you will always have it in the back of you head constantly reminding you either to check the price or the news, wondering if i should take my profit and cash it out or just hold it, that is why you should only invest your time and money in bitcoin as a hobby or a pass time that makes you money that way you don't get distracted or feel engaged to constantly think about it

I’ve been addicted to bitcoin for years (in a good way). It changed my life, I wouldn’t even be close to the position I am in life now without bitcoin. Some important things to remember are do not panic sell, don’t expect to get rich quickly. Have control of your own private keys & HODL.

I can't say I am addicted with bitcoin, but in my daily life, I always see to it that I checked the crypto market. And of course, I need to be in the forum as I am part of the sig campaign. But I learn a lot of things here in the forum especially new projects that are worth looking at. You can also be updated of what's happening in the crypto market even without checking other crypto news websites because members here usually create thread if there are relevant news. The good thing here, you can also read the discussion among the members and read what their insights are.

Most of people does have perception that this is a rich quick scheme thats why some people do really fall into those scams out there because of that kind of intent. Bitcoin addiction is something a good thing

as long you dont compromise something then its a good thing because you do benefit out if you do really know how to hold and wont be affected by fuds which do result into
panic sell.

Addiction to bitcoin is much way more better than addiction with gambling.Dont you agree?

A very simple example, I have a friend around me who is a football fan, but when he participates in gambling, this is a strong connection with money. If you don't sleep for 48 hours, there is no sleepiness. This is an addiction. The same is true of investing in encrypted digital currency, why is there an addiction, because it is a kind of gambling pleasure.
