What do you think about moving medical records to blockchain? I read an article about this recently, it would be interesting to read your opinion

Yes, definitely. It's a ledger where information/data is being stored and cannot be edited by anyone. Since you're just asking about medical records, then it is a sure thing that those data can be stored in the blockchain. Every data can be stored in the blockchain if there's a company that's going to use this technology so if a medical company like a hospital makes their database and converts it into blockchain, it is very applicable to them.

It is possible because medical records can be encrypted and uploaded on blockchain. However, it relates to governments and privacy of patients as well as medical facilities and medical staffs.

It needs to be approved by governments and laws before it can be applied for medical records. The blockchain that runs this task and stores those records would be a private blockchain.

In my country is applying to store all the personal information of citizens, including insurance books, medical records... etc based on the chip of the ID card, this will be automated. based on the regulations granted. but obviously, if you want to store medical records on a personal blockchain I think it's okay, but to apply and create synchronization throughout. It will involve each country's regulations/laws on the right to  privacy, data security

it looks reasonable and doable. but indeed there are obstacles related to regulations in each country.
but if what is used is the use of blockchain, I think it is very acceptable and it will make data management easier.

but which blockchain network would be most appropriate in this case?

I have seen several blockchain-based health projects, it seems very possible, try visiting the following websites that use blockchain for their health projects.

Yes, it is quite possible and it will be very effective as well. I am not sure about the name but I believe one ICO was working on this idea which was then promoted by late John McAfee. I don't know how far they have reached or whether or not they exist. But moving the medical records in blockchain can be beneficial for both the patient and doctor. Also the insurance frauds will come down because the data will be accessible to them as well.

But it can't be a public blockchain because medical data is very valuable and legally prohibited to share in a public domain. So it has to be a private blockchain.

If i remember correctly there already was a medical related blockchain project that launched or at least wanted to launch back in 2018 or so and in the meantime i would guess that many more of such projects have tried the same but i don't really know if anyone of them or how many of them were successful in the end. For me it could definitely make sense to store medical data on the blockchain because this way a patient can be sure that it can not be altered by anyone. I also think though that there are still many doubts and concerns of patients that don't really know about blockchain technology and therefore don't want that their data is stored there.

adding on his list, you can find this article about healthcare-related companies using blockchain technology

Akiri
BurstIQ
Factom
MedicalChain
ProCredEx
Avaneer
SimplyVital Health
RoboMed
Embleema
Chronicled

below summarised some of the vital role of blockchain in healthcare industry -

so yeah, it is very possible to move medical records to blockchain and that would actually really be a very good help in this industry. from the same article above, it is stated that =

"Estonia began using blockchain technology in 2012 to secure healthcare data and process transactions. Now all of the country's healthcare billing is handled on a blockchain, 95% of health information is ledger-based and 99% of all prescription information is digital."

i didn't expect that estonia is already this advanced when it comes to their healthcare app and been utilizing the tech since 2012.

I strongly believe that Blockchain is likely to be adopted in many spheres. It can be used in business, education, medicine, as it can safely store information. But now this system is still very rustic. There are problems with security and fees. Some decentralised storages (Chia, Arweave) are not very fair as more than 50% of information in their storage will be occupied by owners. So we are still looking for better ways.
