Why still including their name among board members?.

I think it is because it is an annual stat (or annual stat included), everyone that post on Nigerian local thread in 2021 were included. In the monthly report, only active members will only be among (to make it clear, members with 1 post and above in that month, according to what I have noticed).

Well that wasn't indicated on the thread, to me reading this it seems like this are all active members but when I visit the thread, I don't see those name contributing to discuss ongoing there. Op should make it more clearer so we don't confused others. In regards to the newbies suggestions, I think they should be included and that'll give us opportunity to look into those accounts and see who's or isn't been productive.

One good thing about listing users out here is that, it give those who are interested in our quest and help users grow on the forum to help review accounts of members of our community. We don't have much merits been distributed on the thread but that doesn't mean our members aren't been productive but on and off the thread.

I agree with CryptopreneurBrainboss I’m seeing some names for the first time although I know them as members of bitcointalk some of the users have not associated themselves publicly with the Nigerian community nor do they actively participate in our local discussions. Why honour them? I don’t think it is fair that they are mentioned while newbies that are in local board are exempted. My POV

I have checked that, you are right, it will be better for the names to not be included anymore, anyone who is not active again should be removed. To make this simple and well understandable, he can just include names of monthly active posters and the number of posts each active posters made in each month. From there we can easily know monthly active posters, even can easily be used to provide some useful information for annual stat.

Active users is a yes for me as I have said but I don't buy into the idea of how many post each users made to be highlighted, just so this doesn't tune into some sort of competition and make users make unnecessary posts to boast their activities, maybe just a graph ranking those active based on their activities is find by me but this is debatable.

I remember ones the board was filled with unattractive discussion in the past, we won't want that to repeat itself not forgetting we Nigerians are known for competition and it'll be unwise to bring about things that'll trigger such behavior. Users should just participants in discussion when they feel like so we can have genuine discussion. Again this is just my opinion.

This should not be debatable, we should leave all to Igehhh to just give us the accurate stat we need, it can be in form of chat or something, but just for it to indicate active users in weeks and/or months. So far on the graph if it is indicated by weeks and/or months, I am fine by that as well, but all left to Igehhh to make its own decision about it.

Understandable our activities dropped a little in December, it's the holidays and many people are bond to get some break off the forum. I remember I wasn't active that period as well, took some time off myself before returning back now. Looking at the names I see some users that aren't active on the forum and local board precisely. Why still including their name among board members?.

Users who have contributed once or more on the local board in one form or another are included in the statistics; some of us find it difficult to talk on a single topic, therefore I understand why some of us aren't as active as others.

So far you want the merit stat of 2021 vs 2022 to continue, why not also let the activity stat of 2021 vs 2022 to continue, it will be nice to see such stat.

The data I released the last time (above) covers board activities from 2019 to 2021, but having statistics for 2021 vs 2022 wouldn't hurt either, so I'll take care of that when I have a chance.

Second, you have a stat for activity of December 2021 vs January 2022, can we have weekly stat for the merit stat as well, maybe starting from next month.

Merits stats for unofficial local boards aren't on the DdmrDdrmr merits dashboard tap, which I obtained on request. I don't think it's wise to keep pestering him for weekly stats, so I'll stick to monthly stats for the time being till we get the merits taps for unofficial boards.

Did you mean after having a local board? If it is a monthly report, it will always be visible because it will always be updated approximately every month. Or did you mean local thread? It can not be pinned in local thread, only what can happen is to request for a space to be created for it after local thread OP, but this is not possible, it is not possible as this is a thread on its own.

What I think he meant is to simply edit the first post of your local thread and include link to this thread.

One more suggestion, if I may: I think that it wouldn't be a bad idea to share a complete monthly overview in your thread, and not just share it as a link, so it's more visible to everyone how active you are, month after month. At least that's what we did when we were asking for an additional boards in Croatian board, which we got eventually. I don't know if that helped, but it didn't hurt for sure, so maybe it can help you too with your request.

I might be wrong here, but I think that you missed the thread. I also get regularly confused sometimes when I see that [CHARTS] part, thinking that it's my thread. Regarding the monthly overview of the local board activity, I think you might be surprised this month as it might come much sooner than expected.

That's a personal thread; it has nothing to do with the unofficial Nigeria local board, therefore transferring activity data from there to the main local thread is pointless; if we ever get a local board, it will be based on the main board's activities. I'm solely interested in the main thread right now.

I believe there are additional Nigeria-related threads (if I'm not mistaken, the Hausa and Yoruba threads).

Okay the goal is to have our local board. Everyone is doing what they can to make that happen. I thank you for contributions to our cause. It will not be in vain. I look at the Nigerian users of btt and I’m proud we have a legendary, a DT1, and a Charles-Tim.

Igehh you have done good for this over view. The people in unofficial Nigerian Local Board are doing well and contributing very well. But I notice something in the board, there are good posts that are not merited. But when I visit other people's Board I will see the rain of merits. Is like that there is unfair distribution.
I don't know how you get your data. For you to be correct, don't use assumption to include people. Include only the people that use to post on the Nigerian Local Board thread.

You are asking what Igehhh has already answered, read the quote below. I have already made a suggestion, if you want it to be in a way you can know presently active users, there is nothing bad to for monthly Nigerian local thread posters and the number of posts made monthly to be included, this alone will provide an informative monthly view of active posters on the local thread. But I do not think the need for this is necessary, it is just a local thread for now, I do not know why people that have posted before there should be excluded, if we are given the local board, we all contributed, even users that no long active there again. So, I like how it is like that for now, but best for Igehhh to make his own opinion about it and he answered the question. We should not be discussing what has been discussed before.
