I wonder why you're replaying his post, you should check the content of my post to see if he did it with permission from @Amphenomenon because since he is in charge of this, it is better to get permission from him. He mentioned that he will release the statistics for April next week.

I know that anyone here can do this work but if a new member wants to do this, that new member should get permission from the previous person in charge. To find out about this, please take a look at this post because a member had previously published monthly statistics.

You did a good job here mate. But sometimes let's try to be moderate. We already had someone who's responsible for providing this monthly stats. So If you wanted to post the monthly stats, you should always seek his permission and not jump into doing this. He might as well already created this and you would make his work seem like a wasted effort.

Next time just reach out to him.

Moreover are you competing with posts, don't draw more attention to yourself and later regret this.

First off I'm still trying to phantom why you guys like violence so much on this board. Well I don't wanna associate myself with anything uncalled for and unnecessary so I'll go straight to point. Amphenomenon has been making this data available for over a year now and I don't think he's missed a month so yeah it's why I try to support him.

Many other data kinda similar to this across the forum are posted once or twice after that abandoned so I believe that makes this different. @TokenTikas I'm not trying to belittle your work but next time try to collaborate or speak with someone before something like this. Well, you might as well check for a slight error in the MEMBER rank. Odusko and Marykeller are Hero Members, not Member rank. Im just pointing that out for you to correct the error so that others dont interpret it differently.

Actually, I said I had some free time today, that’s why I made it. But after creating it, from the advice I got from you guys, it seems maybe it wasn’t the right thing to do. Since I’ve already made it, now I’m thinking whether I should delete it or just leave it there. I already sent a message to Amphenomenon and explained that I did it from my own personal side and if it still looks like a problem then I can delete it, no issue at all.

Quote me wrong, anyone can present a local board monthly statistics, they are not been paid, so it's a voluntary service which anyone having interest could take up, moreover, hope you're aware we are already in the month of May and he made for April.

Actually, I did it from my own personal side, not because I wanted to take any credit for it. I even mentioned that I was just passing my free time, so I decided to work a little on the charts. But the respected member has been doing this work for a long time, that’s why everyone naturally refers to him, nothing more than that.

For avoidance of doubts; this is my thread, I ran it for several years and I only permitted Amphenomenon when he shown interest to help keep this place alive. Amphenomenon is the only one allowed to post statistics of the local board on this thread.

This is why I'm taking action against it- you saw this announcement and still went ahead to drop your post.

Because someone else owns this thread - you don't go into people's topic to drop the exact content of their topic without permission.

And Yes, doing something someone is already doing on the same board or creating different threads for the same content is against the forum rules( no duplicate topic)

I hope you see the point others are trying to make here, it took you time and effort which is voluntarily, but all you needed was seeking permission. I had spoken with Amphenomenon about including some other statistics to the charts, with his permission he agreed, but I had a second thought and let him run the thread as he's been doing, he also made some adjustment to what I had planned.

What you would have done is PM him, we all need help at some point.

Some were saying one can do it without asking anything, I will also love such person to go update other charts like that of the main board, after all it can be done by anyone. Let's do things in order even while we are in our own Lb.

For the fact that you already came to notify the local board people that the chart will be available next week should have been enough to keep anyone away from posting same or at let, he can reply to your post seeking approval to post same or send you a PM. That a person is assigned to do something does not mean that no other person knows how to do it. That's what we refer to as 'responsibility'. I hope we get more guided next time order not to have that feeling that anyone is against us especially when the post is deleted afterwards.
