Anyone familiar with the T17+ boards know where the temp sensors are located? There doesn't seem to be a lot of info online about these T17+ boards. We're getting some boards with temp errors and we mistakenly used a thermal compound that caused some chips to overheat. I'm new to the forum and new to mining so i apologize if this has been asked already. Also does anyone know of another resource of information for T17+ boards specifically?
TIA

From what I know of other *17 boards, there are probably four chips with temperature sensors attached, two on the air-inlet side and two on the outlet side. They'll be in pairs, opposite ends of the same row, second or third row down from the top and up from the bottom.

I'm not sure how to tell from looking without lifting heatsinks because the parts are probably hidden up close to the chip. I could probably tell you from a UART sniff of the return traffic from the hashboard.

Cool, quiet and up to 1TH pod miner, on sale now!

Here's one: Antminer T17+ Hash Board Repair Guide[EN]
- You can "contact" them directly and ask your questions as well [I haven't mined in a very long time, but AFAICR, they usually responded within a day or two].

Most probably you will get those temperature sensors below chip7, chip9, chip22 & chip24.
You can consider chip1 from any corner of the hashboard, no problem. Those chips will remain the same in every cases.

You will find temperature sensors are badged with some letter-code like- "T451 97J" or "T451 87J" or something random prefix but always started with "T451";

look at the photos below:

I know those chip positions are the case on T17 boards, but is it the same on T17+? That's a 44-chip board, not a 30-chip, so it's more likely chip9, chip12, chip33, chip36 if they kept the same distribution pattern as T17 and T17e boards.

The Antminer T17 hash board has a total of 4 temperature sensing ICs, the model number is TMP451. They are located in the third row from left to right, and the third row from right to left, one on top and one on bottom. The top 2 are next to the ASIC chip, so you may need to remove the heatsink to see them. The bottom 2 are located at U88 and U89, these two are not covered, so you can easily find them. Except for the S17 and T17, the temperature sensing ICs of the 17 series are arranged in this way.
