Polkadot about to rise?

I read an article on Cointelegraph yesterday, it says that Polkadot is probably the next on the list, so I tried to check all the info the author presented to sustain his opinion, in order to not to plan an investment just because I've seen a positive article.

Actually the volumes are rising, new interesting parachains projects are on the way (personally I kept an eye on Moonriver and Moonbeam since July) and, looking at the chart, DOT is still relatively quiet despite the moment the market is experiencing (basically followed BTC's path, with a little jump that is not even remotely close to the rise of Solana)


So, not necessarily focusing on that particular article, what are your thoughts about this?

Actually the volumes are rising, new interesting parachains projects are on the way (personally I kept an eye on Moonriver and Moonbeam since July) and, looking at the chart, DOT is still relatively quiet despite the moment the market is experiencing (basically followed BTC's path, with a little jump that is not even remotely close to the rise of Solana)

You should probably check on the circulating and total supply of DOT and SOL if you want to compare the rise in fiat price of both coins. Don't expect DOT to pump over a $100 like SOL if it has a circulating supply that's more than twice.

So, not necessarily focusing on that particular article, what are your thoughts about this?

Well there is a possibility that soon dot will breakout and we will see a radical price surge like solana, I was expecting to see dot move alongside other alts but just like you already said, nothing significant yet, if there have been new development in this project that was able to draw investors attention, then most likely the price will react in near future

TBH, we already had the bullish rally on polkadot like solana did recently. But, it's true that more bullish rally is waiting to be started and market just needs to be more stable or uptrend. If that's gonna be happened, than we'll see more bullish rally than previous one on polkadot and 100 bucks won't be a that much resistance anymore for it because of the current rapid development as well as parachain auctions.

TBH, we already had the bullish rally on polkadot like solana did recently.

There's some truth to that but it feels like the market is picking up steam again, and so it is likely that the rally for DOT and SOL could still go.

We see ADA going so others could pop off again.

With BTC being the way it is, these things can be quite unpredictable but for sure we'll see some gains in these chain tokens.

The thing is you can't really be sure if Polkadot is going to rise or not even if one article or the other speculates that it will go up, but one thing I've noticed is that Polkadot has actually not been doing bad on the network, it has become more popular amongst altcoin investors and it very well could pump anytime soon, but it could also dump as well, it can either go both ways. I'm not so confident about Polkadot on the long run, but if you're looking for a good altcoin to make ROI on the short term, Polkadot seems to be a very good option.

Daily market gainers list or what? Probably all altcoin will go up in value and the DOT is on the top 50 CMC list. Depending on the price movement of ETH, the altcoins will go to the moon in case of altcoin season arrives. It will happen sooner or later. Polkadot was below $10 once and I refused to invest it in due to the some personal problems. Neo and Dot altcoins are the altcoins I have missed the opportunity investing. In the next bear market session I will invest more probably.

In the first place Polkadot has the most ambitious task in the world of blockchain technology. It may take quite a while for its ecosystem to work in full potential. Many dApps are in line to have their respective parachains to be in Polkadot's "group of blockchains". Slowly it will gain track but not in the mold of BTC and ETH.

Dot is considered as one of the good and promising altcoins that's being noticed by everybody. You're right with what you did, even though some articles are giving good reviews to a certain altcoin.
You shouldn't buy that immediately and you have to make your own research for you to know how it is to going to be before you invest.

DOT came into the limelight because it offered interchain operability. I have not seen a single project doing that till now. Still, I would not say DOT is bad. It is a good project especially for those who want to invest in projects that are using its ecosystem. I would recommend you to look into Solano and compare both of them. SOL will pump more for sure. I guess DOT is still at a low price and undervalued, but I do not know how long the price will rise. Maybe in the next altcoin season, the price can increase, and I feel that the price can reach $100 in the future. Solana was already increased higher so I think it is better to search for the other coin/token that can increase. I think the altcoin price is now waiting for the bitcoin price back to increase so the altcoin will have more opportunities to increase. Maybe this month can be the next time for the crypto market to rise.

Polkadot really showing a sign of progress reason many people nowadays making prediction about it.. Indeed this coin is one of the most popular coins this year wherein along with XLM, ATOM, ADA, SOLANA and many more alts in the market, so it's not surprising if we will see some good sights especially within this month of september, that most of the good news from some experts is not yet done because of some break outs sign of these coin..

Op, it would great if you link the article you've read to your original post, given that this is what got you interested. I believe that Polkadot is one of the most promising projects out there because it's relatively new but gained a lot of attention and has a very strong team. I think the price will rise over the years, and this coin will become one of the top-5 cryptos by market capitalization. But that's from the long-term perspective. I'm not sure whether it'll keep rising or if the price is about to decrease over the next few days or weeks.

Personally I am also positive in terms of Polkadot. I watched a lot of optimistic reviews about it. Polkadot is a platform that allows developers to create their blockchains upon it. Polkadot is scalable, as it can run several transactions at the same time.This platform is said to be decentralised, so there is a mechanism of governance.

Personally I think that it is not the high time for Polkadot now, but it attracts me by its decentralisation and innovative ideas.

DOT will be pumped because compared to altcoins in the form of smart contract platforms, DOT has not increased much in price. Most tokens belonging to the DOT ecosystem are still on ETH. This is questionable, at least they need to do as Solana or AVAX to have the momentum to drive value.

At the moment DOT as seen its volume is being very sold, but BNB is having a rise in price, so it can help that DOT has a surge, however also BTC is rising a bit, this could cause that Dot investors are waiting for the best time for it to go up:

Although many want to see DOT again at 35USD it is very likely that it could take a bullish jump, if BTC manages to rise to at least $ 45k, DOT could reach the mark.

Potential upside or technology of the project? Even the high-speed Solana, ONE, MATIC still have problems with their blockchain, but at least these projects have launched their smart contracts. We will have to wait until the end of 2022 to see real projects develop on Polkadot.

Maybe it's not a big deal and I think it will happen soon on the polkadot platform, maybe you see it as a problem causing delay from polkadot but in reality we still have to admit that they have a good solution during operation compared to emerging platforms. Perhaps we will soon see a time boom around October  2021.
