I have been gambling for a while and I don't still get the consistency that I love.

I have different games already, both skilled-based and luck-based types of games, I was told that I should focus on skilled-based games as there's a chance to be successful to develop my skills as a gambler.

So I like to ask, have you ever thought of making money in gambling consistently? If so, what type of gambling did you focus on?

I understand you very well but no gambling should be thoight of as skilled or professional, all gamling are pure luck, that is what we should first know. About the skilled based you take about, if you are watching football very well, you can go for it, while know casinos are pure game of luck, you can still make some analyses in games like sports and if you watch more of football, then go for football, never set emotion, analyse and choose rightly.

Yes, I lost more when I have such poor mindset, now I see gambling as fun and not a part to making money and I gained from it now. I gamble on football because I love football, I make my analyses and gambling with three odds maximum while single odds are good for me, my budget is less than 5% of my income and can not be more.

Yeah, through sports betting, have good days and bad days. I'm not into skilled-based games like poker, but maybe if you take some time and really focus then you have a better chance to become skilled and earn good money out of it.

So for the the two logical choices are sports betting, sports that you can analyse because you have been following it for many years and are very familiar with the players.

Lol! I wish I can find a magic wand to get the winning consistency I love. But this is something beyond our control.

Not really! I couldn't get much winnings in slots. The only game I have seen a little better consistency is crash game. But we need to control our betting amount without getting carried away by the past winnings. Also I don't think skill based gambling is available in reality.

I don't think so.
Even if you're so good in a skill based games like poker, there will always be better than you. Besides, it's also combined with luck.
Well, I agree that you should focus on skill based gambling games rather than playing in a pure luck based games, but winning consistently is impossible.

Few of the gambling activity I could suggest is playing poker or bet on sports. These will both challenge your skills in analysis and predictions.

I doubt that there are games out there where you can earn real money that are completely skill based because i don't think that would work out pretty well for the casinos. I think that in the end even those so called skill based games are still purely luck based. Maybe you could call poker a little bit skill based because there it is also very important that you can read the body languages of your opponents even if they try to hide their feelings and of course you need to be able to hide your emotions from the other players. This of course is also only true for real life poker and not for online poker. My advice would be to gamble because you have fun doing it and to get excited whenever you win something but don't go in with the strict plan that you are now consistently need to make money from gambling.

Between the two, I agree that you should focus more on skilled-based games if consistency is what you are after because you have more control.

Gambling isn't limited to sports betting and casino games. There are card games such as poker where your skills as a player is very important. There is still luck involved but this has a lot of mind games between players.

But until I've realized that I cannot be stable with those since I cannot focus with any of them.

Have you tried poker? You should probably play a lot of games to find what you really want, I think that it's the only way that you can find what you really want to play in. Also, don't be too worked up over your search, take it easy and don't be too hasty because that might be the reason you're easily bored.

Focus on what you know and what you want, that's where you use your passion in gambling.

As for me, I'm into sports, so sports betting really fits me, however, I have not reached the level yet of being consistent in making money, maybe in the future but I know it's not easy for people like me who does not have inborn talent in gambling.

You can't make money in gambling unless you either cheat, do arbitrage betting or bet only on +EV games and all of them will get you banned from the casino. Gambling is not a job.

If you want consistent returns, get a damn job or make other investments. Gambling is not your daily job.

Think about it, the casinos job is to make money from you, do you think they'll let you do the opposite? Otherwise they wouldn't be in business.

in the past yes, after i took a break to relax when the leagues had stopped, but when i bet the results have been consistent.

If so, what type of gambling did you focus on?

1 - Portuguese league

2 - La Liga (Spanish League)

3 - Ligue 1 (French League)

4 - Bundesliga (german League)

5 - Premier league (my favorite league)

For me it's sports betting, even though there's no house edge it's still difficult to maintain a consistent profit because I bet on other sports rather than focusing on a couple of sports where i'm very confident. When it comes to casino games, having a constant profit is way too impossible to achieve, imo the only way you could do it is by relying on promotions but even then not all promotions give out decent rewards and most of the competitions are usually swept by high rollers. Most of my profits came from promotions but the best ones rarely show up so you have to thoroughly check and visit casinos frequently.

You are the one who only knows the answer, but if you'll ask me, the one I will focus on is sports betting and I think that would what everyone would say because it's easy and you don't need a special talent just to win. I know what you meant about consistency, but I believe that the most important in this venture is to learn how to manage your bankroll properly, getting a profit of 10% from your investment in one season is big enough if you can make it consistent.
