To make it balance you need both discipline and knowledge but don't limit yourself to those you should also take consider things such as bravery most of the time you are not sure what will happen in trading, investment or gambling and without bravery or courage you wouldn't be able to do things. I agree with you that knowledge and especially discipline are both very important factors but i also want to add that in my opinion the most important factor is still luck. I invested in some projects recently that have, at least in my opinion a great usecase a good Team and a well thought through roadmap with achieveable and realistic goals. Yet some of this projects are still below their presale price while other projects with zero usecase make 100x and more.

There is a misconception about crypto that its about making you rich over night. Many think that BTC is about buying it at 10k and selling at 50k. This is where knowledge comes in, only knowledge can tell you that its not like that.

Absolutely true, but they are not the only keys to success in trade.
In fact, success in trade can't be determined by setting some factors as prices can drop for unexpected reasons even you have enough knowledge in your background.
I would like to add Patience and Wisdom to the general facts for success. Without the need to mention that you should have enough budget to reach a significant profit + do ever invest in trade with a money that you don't afford to loose, similar to gambling.

I am a trader as well as an investor in my opinion trading discipline is very important we should have our own discipline and especially don't be too greedy in this market if you get greedy it will lead to failure and loss . I have learned many times in my trading.

Discipline and knowledge are two things that works together. You can be disciplined but without knowledge you still won’t be able to achieve anything in trading. And you can have knowledge, without discipline you are still going to find it difficult to make your way through the cryptocurrency market, since the market is a volatile one And there are lots of risk involved. So sometimes we need a little bit of control over our feelings to be able to make the right decisions and at the right time.
