Hey everyone,

I was looking to make a few bets on NIP vs. TeamOne yesterday, ESL Pro League S14 - CS:GO.
Had my leans in mind but before placing my first bet I went on to take a look at the Bet365 and Cross.bet live killfeeds to see which maps and sides the teams were playing on, as they’re usually up a few minutes before starting time and also ahead of HLTV (the leading reference site for CS:GO) and the Twitch streams.

When I saw TeamOne was on the Terrorist side, the first bet was in; TeamOne to win the first pistol round at 2.2 odds - 9.9 mBTC stake.
The lines were immediately pulled as the game started, TeamOne fortunately won the round and the winning bet was correctly graded.

However, an hour later the bet was overturned as a push citing "Outcome already known".

I contacted support about the issue, who then allegedly escalated my case to their Stage Team for an "in depth review". They claimed the Twitch stream started broadcasting with 2 rounds ongoing (which was true, as its intentionally delayed) while failing to realize my bet was still placed before it truly started. Again, the pre-match lines were pulled right before the game begun, as always.
I also made a few other plays before the bet was overturned, which were mostly losses, that I would’ve never played if it had lost.

This is sadly just one of the many issues I’ve encountered there. If you happen to know any reliable crypto bookies please let me know.

TL;DR Won a legitimate bet. Nitrogen overturned a 0.01188 BTC graded win as a push, claiming the game had started - while it hadn’t. Lost money because of it.

EDIT: If you’re unfamiliar with CS:GO, competitive games are played over two halves of 15 rounds each with 2 sides; Terrorist side and Counter-Terrorist side.
After 15 rounds, the two teams swap sides for up to 15 further rounds (excl. overtime). Each half begins with a pistol-only round.
Terrorists win rounds by eliminating all of the Counter-Terrorists or detonating the bomb at one of two bomb sites while Counter-Terrorists win rounds by eliminating all of the Terrorists, defusing the bomb, or preventing the bomb from being planted within the time limit of the round.
The first team to win 16 rounds wins the game (excl. overtime).
Betting on pistol rounds is obviously very degenerate. Don’t do it.

Nitrogensports is a controversial gambling platform, even when you look at their reputation in this forum. This means you should avoid it. Check out some feedback left by some DT members on their profile - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=88706

You could also try posting the complaint in their thread, and we see how they react to it - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=355081
