Very possible for anyone to get addicted even it seems that you almost have everything.

But there will be a thought in their mimd when we say we won huge amount of money in a single bet which may take an year or more to earn from your wages or salary that is what OP is talking about. If someone does gamble "he/she should know the risk of it"! But when we take a look around we see that many people are not familiar with the risks, and they cry over their big losses, gambled loans, etc...
Nothing is good if you overdo it, if you are not familiar with the risk and you keep pushing like there are no consequences... for that reason I am saying that everything comes from close people, who will teach my close ones about gambling if not me?! This is good point imo. If you really have to teach someone then let him know all the risk about gambling. Even show them a live gamble game lol. I think with a clear explanation it can also be understood how the risks in gambling are because the word gambling is not foreign to their ears, so even if they don't need to show they can understand more, indeed with live game shows but I think a little time is enough .

That person might think differently if they saw you winning big money, I’m sure they are still curious and they might try playing as well, so better to play alone if you don’t want your family to get expose into gambling as well. People will always laugh at you especially if you are losing, that’s normal but if you think its not ok, then don’t share your gambling activities. I don’t want to encourage my family into gambling, better for them not to try at all.

I think you are doing exactly the right thing.  
It's good that your family doesn't know, or just guess that you are playing alone.  Then no one distracts, there is an opportunity to concentrate and, perhaps, an optimal decision can be made.  
If you are really busy with something exciting, such as gambling, you always nervously take advice or comments from people who are nearby.  And it is very distracting and annoying.  And ultimately it can affect the outcome of the game.  And people making comments often do not even understand that it would be better to be silent than to advise something.  And they may treat your game with disdain or irony.  And this is annoying too, if you yourself understand it.

If so, you can play gambling in your room without anyone knows what you are doing. Some gamblers are also playing in their room and no one knows about their activity in gambling. I would never introduce my kids to gambling, nothing good can come of it. It's a disease and an addiction that many people can't control. I have met very few responsible gamblers in my life. Those who know when it's enough and who gamble occasionally just for fun. The people I know usually have problems at home because their gambling activities affect their families negatively. For those kind of people, the most important thing is their fix and thrill. Their families come second. Its also my main reason why I didn't share when I'm gambling. I don't want to get to the point that when they know that I'm gambling then they try it and then got addicted into it that they will blame me into what happened to him. I don't want that to happen because I already knew from the start that you will lose all of your money at some point especially if you can't control yourself.
