Chivo Wallet’s home page FAQs seems to be changing over time, and certain information gets added or modified. Limits now state that:
Chivo Wallet:
- Minimum to send/receive/convert: 0,01$ (or bitcoin equivalent I figure).
- Maximum to send(?*)/receive/convert: no limits.
- Maximum recharge through web interface: 750$ per charge (I believe you can pay with a card for this operation).
(*) The site’s phrasing references send/receive/convert in the listed item, but omits the term "send" when describing the limits. Whether this is a deliberate omission or a mistake is unknown to me.Chivo ATM:
- Withdrawls (10$ and 20$ bank notes):
o Minimum 10$
o Maximum 1K$ per day; 30K$ per month
- Recharges (bitcoin purchases):
o Minimum 1$
o Maximum 1K$ per day; 30K$ per month
One thing to bear in mind is that, as far as I’m aware (correct me if I’m wrong), Chivo ATMs are only able to work under the Chivo ecosystem, meaning that you can’t (currently) use them from a non-Chivo wallet. If that is so, they are technically bitcoin ATMs, but subject to freedom of wallet choice restrictions.
