Greetings BitcoinTalk Users,

I am wondering, that how Bounty Management Works? like I already see some Top Bounty Managers, but I have also seen some New/newbie "status", posting in the Bounties section.

I want to know that Ho the bounty process works?

What is the cost to post a bounty for the Project Holder? and How much does a Bounty Manager charge for it? like managing Different campaigns on Social Media Platforms, Facebook, Telegram, Twitter, Reddit, Medium, etc, preparing the lists, etc.

It is a request to all the Bounty Manager/Senior Users, please share the process/guide/link/any helping materials. I assume this information will help a lot of other users.

Note: @admin Please move the post if there is any other suitable section for this post.

Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

It varies according to each campaign manager and the currency you want to pay in. When you pay with bitcoin and a high amount per month, you will find the best accounts in this forum and therefore expect to get a better return.
In general, the science of marketing requires some study, and if you do not have a preliminary perception, then jumping using the forum may not achieve gains because the promotion here does not depend on the number of people who promote you, but for how long it will continue.

Generally, according to the number you want to choose, signature campaigns cost from as little as $10 to $300 per week, and you can pay more, but it is difficult to find someone who works for less than $10 a week.

The rest of the campaigns vary based on many factors as well as the amounts charged by the campaign managers.

Additionally, if you know more about bounty campaign management, I saw a lot of threads by different bounty campaign managers in the Services section (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=52.0).
Agree with hugeblack. Different bounty managers too got different rates, there are some threads here that list most the bounty campaign managers, and maybe you can check them and see some managers and try to ask them just to know something if you want to be a campaign manager too.

This is too subjective IMO, this depends on different aspects like, number of posts and participants, time frame of the campaign, the works given to the participants and too many more.
I'll suggest you to observe and make existing managers as reference for this work. You can check the link given by GreatArkansas.

But most of the time, new managers offers cheaper rates some even free for a week or just to get and compete existing managers, yu can observe it on services board. Once get more experience you will probably know what rates to offer, since you're the one who will work and manage the campaign.

There are no special ranking requirements to become a manager. As long as you are able to do this, you can manage your campaigns with the brand new account.

Varies, it depends on the agreement. Usually, the higher the reputation of the manager, the more expensive they are offered (although success is not guaranteed). The reason bounties managed by reputable managers have more appeal is that they believe in:
- Good management
- Payment guarantee
- Potential for success

This space for rent.

Yes, we're all capable to run a bounty campaign even a brand-new account.  But what happens to those campaigns that are run by most newbies or brand new accounts, it usually turns out into a scam project or else they scam bounty hunters and didn't pay their rewards.  Another factor, a bounty campaign run by newbies who might be prone to cheater participants that could be waste your time and effort running a bounty campaign.

If you're the project owner, let them handle your project to the expert one found on the list that showed above.  They are capable to do this and they know which better participants and avoid possible cheaters and besides, since they are reputable, participants expected that they are safe and be awarded soon because the fund is safe to their hand, plus, they probably don't run scam projects which their diligence to research first before accepting a project.

If I were you, hire a reputable one to manage your project in a bounty campaign.

I'm afraid the managers here in this forum won't publicly post their rates on this thread. I haven't managed a bounty campaign before but I guess there are no strictly flat rates. It would most probably depend on the specific tasks and the number of participants, among other factors. Perhaps fees are also negotiable to a certain extent.

Rightly or wrongly, the credibility of the projects are sometimes associated with the credibility of bounty managers. As such, if a campaign is managed by the likes of Hhampuz or yahoo62278, it could be expected that the slots get filled up easily. So perhaps it matters a lot if a bounty campaign is managed by an unknown newbie or a popular legendary manager.

There is no limit to who can manage a bounty campaign, it depends on the manager and project. The only requirement is you have to be a member of this forum if you are intending to manage a bounty campaign. You have to create your portfolio, doesn't matter you haven't managed any campaign, you can write what you can do for the project. Then either the project authority will contact you or you have to contact projects that you intend to manage. You have to convince the project or company to select you because many others like you will contact the project or company. But don't try to spam via forum PM, otherwise, you might get banned from the forum.

A project would consider your experience, management fees, the total stake for the campaign you suggest for the good result, and so on. That's how you both will agree with the payments. Then the company will give you some conditions that you have to follow, or leave the campaign. Then you have the right to select participants for the campaign based on company requirements of course. Because different companies will give you different conditions, like some companies would require postings on gambling section for signature campaign. So you have to manage a spreadsheet of who is in your campaign and update activities & reports. Finally, distribute the stakes that were promised to participants. The campaign takes or your payments would be held in advance or using escrow, otherwise pay after the campaign. It totally depends on the manager and companies. Hope you got all the points very well.

I have also seen some New/newbie "status", posting in the Bounties section.
Those are projects or companies with either low budget and cannot hire a decent, reputable bounty manager or they just don't trust anybody on this forum other than themselves.

I want to know that Ho the bounty process works?
Two scenarios
A. A project/company approaches a reputable bounty manager (or even a lowbie one), tells him they want a bounty campaign then the they discuss the price for his/her services, the budget for the entire bounty campaign, escrows (if needed). Once they come to an agreement, bounty manager preps everything and runs the bounty campaign on a specific date and timeline. Once it ends, distribution of the bounty rewards begins which is done either by the bounty manager, the project/company or the escrow.
B. Vice-versa of A. The bounty manager is the one who approaches a project or a company and offers his services but the rest is the same structure.

What is the cost to post a bounty for the Project Holder?
There's no telling. This depends on how much does the project/company would want to spend 'cause by my experience, even if you lay some suggestions, most would still go with the numbers that's on their mind.  Cheesy

How much does a Bounty Manager charge for it?
Depends on how big the bounty campaign is. Some bounty campaigns only has 1 campaign on it (ex. Signature campaign), while others will have multiple campaign categories ranging from social media campaigns, translations, content creation; heck even airdrop is sometimes included.
$100 per week at minimum.

It is a request to all the Bounty Manager/Senior Users, please share the process/guide/link/any helping materials. I assume this information will help a lot of other users.
There's no known guide though. You need to learn just by observing the current bounty managers we have around.
Visit their service threads, check their spreadsheets, read their campaign threads and learn what rules, qualifications and rewards structures they're implementing.

You should know that most of the tasks that are shouldered by the bounty manager is (by my experience) tideous and repetitive and some responsibilites will also be placed on you (visit the reputation board if you want insight on this.  Cheesy ) but with that being said, it is an interesting side job if you're looking to earn a few cryptos.

Why should they share here such information? And to help others? Why? I know everyone starts from scratch but bounty managing isn't a thing that's necessary to learn here. Let alone that service automatically be learned by users if they want to start doing it. No offense.

Information about it should be kept secret by the bounty managers. It's a personal information. No need to tell to public their inputs and how much they are paid by the companies they handle. But if you are really curious, it's the same as accepting other projects/works/service and try to find the reasonable price you can ask to the project owners.

exactly. Just imagine, reputed bounty manager creating a guide "how to manage bounty campaign".
I guess, 90% of manager skills coming from experience. even that they can share personal experiences in detail, I see no reason why they would do that.

Tend to agree with you both, that's why if you can see each popular bounty campaign manager has their own format on making signature thread and of course the process on it on how they created their thread and how they will check their participants.  They also starting from scratch and I think they will never disclose their strategy in handling bounty signatures campaigns.  But, who knows they tell OP, I suggest sending them a PM and ask for tips. I'm sure they answer your questions.

Explore first before you will start and if you will not hire a decent bounty managers.

Possibly no one would share publicly but I wouldn’t wonder if they do. Though I don’t have a lot of bounty managed (only a few signature campaign managed), I have been helped a lot by both yahoo62278 and Hhampuz. They have shared some of their experiences and shared a lot of knowledge on it which helped me get the campaign.

Those are known managers for long time here on this forum and its great that they arent selfish into those members of this forum who are tending to be a future manager soon and share up at least or give out some tips.

When it comes to payment then this is something a personal preference because managers does have their own TF's which its either the company would see for it to be worth or OP
they do really differ or might be just the same in terms of charges.

For community management then i dont really have any doubts with those two or even with those managers like you did really make out some good job on handling people.  Smiley

The first question is do you have a knowledge or experience in managing a campaign projects online like here in the forum. Because as Bounty Manager you should have a skill in Management dude, and you must also already have a team that will help you to handle the project that will run into campaign here in the forum. and their rates are same instead, this will depend on their agreement.
