Still holding onto the cryptocurrency that has huge market cap. Though we can't say that we are into global adoption but I think it was set there to do that role. I think if you're asking for alternative cryptocurrencies then this fits on the Altcoin Discussion board, feel free to move it, check the button on the bottom-left side of this thread.

Am just wondering apart from Bitcoin which other assets have the power and operation to transfer their total value through the Internet? Apart from bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, there are couple of assets available. Most popular of them is digital Gold. Nowadays, people can but fraction of gold units through various intermediaries available in internet. These can be freely transferred as per our own will. But again, cryptos require no intermediary which is clearly a huge advantage. Bitcoin is on its way to becoming the future of value transfer through the Internet 🌐. I wait for that day when Bitcoin attain this status with global adoption.
We all are waiting for that day and I feel we are in the right direction. Granular level adoption is increasing and also people have started gathering knowledge about how cryptos work. I just hope cash rich corporates don't buy out the majority stakes of bitcoin.

Bitcoin is already a solution for value transfer and with big capital, you should choose Bitcoin to use, not altcoins. Value transacted per second VTPS is more important than Transactions per second TPS. Bitcoin is a cryptocurrency for Value transacted per second.

Am just wondering apart from Bitcoin which other assets have the power and operation to transfer their total value through the Internet? I'm not sure I am understanding your question properly. Just correct it if I'm wrong. Perhaps we will see another type in the next decade or two but I cannot think of any other asset class that can operate purely online that has or will have actual value as of now. It was dubbed as the "magic internet money" for a good reason hehe.

There are some altcoins that have value too, you can check coinmarketcap to know them, use their marketcap and the coin history for accurate result, most altcoins are shitcoins, you have to be very careful of them and I will strongly advice you to hold bitcoin. I think we can say we are in the future now because bitcoin has made everything easy, you can transfer it from home and abroad.

That is why Bitcoin is called Internet money. It requires no intermediary, and its values can be transferred through the Internet using blockchain technology. No digital assets that don’t require an intermediary on Bitcoin/cryptocurrencies that have eliminated limitations.

Bitcoin already fulfills the transfer of value quite nicely, that I don’t think other crypto can do atm. Gold, perhaps, but not in the way that bitcoin does it. Imagine sending millions in a single transaction which only costs a few dollars at most, while being secure and hassle-free. No identification, no complicated processes involved, and most importantly, no middleman that can potentially be a vector of attack. It will take a long time before some other asset class outperforms bitcoin in this field, though right now there are no strong contenders.

Bitcoin represents the entire cryptocurrency, most especially the decentralized digital currency, even though other digital assets can also be transferred but with some interference from other custodial institutions and individuals but bitcoin has solved such interference which value can be transferred through the Internet 🌐.

NFT? is that probably what you're looking at. I wait for that day when Bitcoin attain this status with global adoption.
It's already starting to aim for that and someday we'll see that majority of the countries are supporting bitcoin payments. But there will also be a few countries that will always be against it and won't accept it even many countries have already adopted it.

Digital wallets actually fit your description, since those transfer value through the internet. Also, stocks, digital bonds, digital gold bonds etc, can also take up the form of value transfer through the internet. Also, there are commodity markets wherein you might be investing in the value of some physical goods and then transfer it. So if you are restricting your search for items that transfer value through internet, then you have a wide variety of items. However, if you are looking at cryptographic methods too, then only cryptocurrencies will fall in this category.

Yeah, a digital wallet can serve ops description but in my understanding value transfer simply stands for the ability of the commodity which value is transferred to maintain and increase in its value no matter the percentage that is being transferred. Digital gold to fit perfectly into the ops point.

I think the word "total" should'nt have been written because it is misleading but I get the idea of what you mean. Digital wallets actually fit your description, since those transfer value through the internet. Also, stocks, digital bonds, digital gold bonds etc, can also take up the form of value transfer through the internet. Also, there are commodity markets ...
Partially agree, but none of the answers mentioned fiat currencies. You can send billions of dollars or euros around the globe, which in a much slower way than with Bitcoin, most likely having to fill out AML forms and at a higher cost.

Not true anymore because some transactions need an escrow so there's some sort of intermediary. But they're probably much safer if not faster than a traditional transaction.
