You can only make a profit on Bitcoin if you buy it at a low price and sell them at a higher price. There is no staking on Bitcoin you can only make a profit in Bitcoin if you hold and wait for a price increase and sell them to make a profit. Trading is simple as buy low and then sell high. There is no ready profit when you buy bitcoin the profit depends on the price of Bitcoin we don't know if Bitcoin would increase in value in the future or not.

Trading and investment are very different, trading is when you convert from one form of money to another, a good example is converting bitcoin to fiat or converting fiat to bitcoin, or converting one crypto to another, like converting USDT to bitcoin.

If you are investing, you will buy bitcoin and leave it to increase in value over a long time like months to years.

Yes that's the aim, to make more money or put yourself in a position where you become a large scale trader by saving the profits instead of cashing out.
Profits and loss is included because there is always risk in this industry. Don't confuse investing with trading, it will rekt you and that's base on experience.
Be wise and find your strength, where you are good at, time management. If you have time to learn more about trading then do so. But if you work full day for a company it will be difficult to maintain it and you would be better off investing.

Got a little confused about the word stake but some users here tell that you might be referring to trader or investor. Yes, all investors know that there's a risk and he or she should be ready on what will happen that is why it is important that you should only invest what you can afford to lose not just in trading but in investment too. When you are going to invest to Bitcoin you should accept the fact that there's a big chance that you will lose your investment.
