Are these 120v rigs?

I found the following rigs from ASIC Miner Value. They all have a power consumption of less than 1920 W. (120v x 20 amp = 2400 W, with 80% rule = 1920 W)

Does it mean that these rigs can run on 120v 120 amp circuits? It seems too good to be true seeing that the profit for these rigs are so high. Am I missing something?

C) i looked closely at listed sellers of the eth machine
some may be okay.

all want over 16k for a rig that could be made obsolete with a simple switch to progpow algorithm.

I just purchased 12 gpus for 14k and a plug n play case for them 1k

so i get 12 x 63 = 756 mh
i burn 12 x 120 = 1440 watts add 160 more for fans and mobo is 1600 watts

16999 used on your link about 15200 for my build.

I burn 250 more watts or 6 kwatts a day or 180 a month say 2000 kwatt in a year at 10 cents

200 dollars I PAY FAR LESS 1800 usd less.

3 year warranties on the gpus.

and the build i do does 120 volts.

If one card fail, no problem, you have warranties, if your only asic die you lost all (this is too common, this happen to me after purchase a T17).

1) These are asics not rigs.  Rigs are pc mobos with gpus.  Rigs can mine many different coins and algos and can be sold to regular users if mining becomes unprofitable.  Asics can only do the algo they are designed for.  Some asics can do several algorithms but they are generally not as flexible as gpus.

2) The watt requirement is just that watts needed.  With a proper power supply the input voltage can be generally in 110-240v power but depends on the actual psu.

240v is more efficient power source where as 120v is less efficient.  For a single unit is not a big deal but ias the number of units increase it matters more and more.  Just like power costs….the lower the better esepcially as the scale of mining increases.

To your last question i assume you mean 120v 20amp circuit.  And yes you could run single of those units on a 120v 20amp circuit but not more than 1 per circuit. 

As another noted above the price of these units is currently very high and price could drop for crypto at any moment so no guarantees you profit.

Pretty sure none of those ASICs come with the PSU included it is just displaying the amount of power that it uses. So you can run it off 120V if you wish however its going to be a pain because many of the 120V PSUs don't go up that high, you will need to use 2 PSUs most likely and they won't be cheap.

The way people run those ASICs is usually with a server chassis PSU running at 240V, usually it has like 10-20 PCIe connectors to power any ASIC. You can use any PSU you want but some of those ASICs will require lots and lots of PCIe connectors and PSUs for computers have a limited number of connectors. Would be best to get some 240V power hooked up somehow. Or just use the 240V from your Dryer, how often do you wash your clothes?

If you want to buy ASIC make sure you get a brand new, make sure all components are included as well, buying used ASIC miners are risky and they aren't something anyone can repair themselves, it's why I decide to quit dreaming about ASCI miners cos no one is qualified to repair them in my country, I just stick with GPUs only

Bitmain does provide warranty for their ASICs and they do have a USA warranty address. I think years ago it was a pain because the ASICS were much cheaper back then and the shipping all the way to China would sometimes not make sense, especially when you factor in the lost revenue.

However now you can send it to California somewhere and the turn around time should be much quicker. I also think it matters how it broke. If you got lucky and its burnt, then obviously they won't repair it but send you a new one. However if the hashboard looks fine, then they might take a few days to diagnose to test a few components here and there and this is what wlll be time consuming.

Its the same with GPUs. If the GPU is burnt, they send you a new one. If there is some minor components that is acting up, they might just replace that MOSFET or Capacitor and send you back the original PCB. Happened with me many times. They don't always send you a new video card.

Honestly few ASIC miners are better than GPUs but the problem is if a ASIC miner gets ruined by high current or faulty it's over, even right now in China you can't send back faulty GPUs to the country, it will be seized by their customs
