Caraballo has a good knock out record but it goes down to who he has fought and knock out, Jonas Sultan is one of the few fighters who has beaten Casimero and he beat Casimero by unanimous decision and he handle Casimero's power effectively he has gone to a lot of tough fight and he has fought fighters who has punching power because he can take it, I'll go for Jonas Sultan, but still, this Caraballo has a knock out power.

I'm not underestimating Caraballo but almost boxer he fight were beginner with very bad result (e.g. Samuel Gutierrez) watching his previous fight, IMO his skills can't be compared with professional boxer. He's such clever person to pick his opponent only, similar like Paul

Even Sultan doesn't have good record, but we can see he can fight and he's more experienced because he fight with other top boxer (e.g. Casimero, Ancajas).

Does Caraballo will be favorite here because of the perfect stats? I doubt it since he's not famous, I'm not even know him before this thread created lol. I'll stick with Sultan, he has a lot potential.

This is the biggest test for Caraballo, he is fighting patsy and weak fighters all his recent fights now this time he is fighting a real deal in Jonas Sultan, but Jonas Sultan should not take this fight lightly he is fighting a fighter with 100% knock out rate, and he is fighting in a US soil it's a big advancement for a future title fight.
I love Sultan's chance here he knows how to duck, he is fast and can elude punches and tire his opponent just like he did to Casimero, Casimero was so tired on their fight that his punches are not effective anymore.

Since Sultan is under MP Promotions, which is owned by Manny Pacquiao, it means, he will have a good training camp on his side.
However, Caraballo's record is impressive so breaking that record would take much effort from Sultan's side.
But I am guessing, the sportsbooks will favor on Caraballo here. As Sultan is just starting to make his name.

This is what we call cherry picking fights for Caraballo, LOL. But he is stepping the plate by facing this Pinoy, I can sense an upset here. Sultan is well tested already, from his fight alone with Casimero although this is early on Casimero's career. But Sultan is battle tested, so for sure if ever he becomes an underdog in the betting, might be good to try some Sats on him.

Caraballo's record may look impressive but checking who he fights will expose him, he hasn't fought someone like Sultan who has fought a lot of tough fights in his career, he beat Casimero already a tough fighter then by a unanimous decision, Caraballo may have a knockout punch but as you say on boxing, you cannot beat what you can't hit, I bet Sultan will win the fight.

I see some of the highlights he had in his past fights, Sultan has some power punch, and speed. But I doubt it'll be enough to defeat Caraballo since he also has the same skills and clean record. I'm sure he has worked so hard to reach that level and he wanted to improve even more to further depends on his clean record. With these boxers' insane skills, the only matter is their strategies to successfully defeat their opponents.

Right, so maybe the quality of his opponents in the past is not that good? Usually though at the start those big punchers or have a good ko percentage, if they are that good no matter who the opponent is, they are going to knock them out, B or C level boxers. But in this case, it is a step up, as he will be facing a Filipino who is known to be very durable.

Once I hear the name undefeated, I always believe that the fighter is really good.

 I'm not actually impressed so much with Sultan, so I think this is going to be a great challenge for him and if he beats an undefeated fighter with this kind of KO stats, he will surely bring glory to his country and he will become more popular.

His goal is to win, and it's good to see him fighting under MP promotion, the biggest boxing promoter in the Philippines and from the Philippines.

Caraballo's career as a knockout artist will be put in a big test against a guy who has fought tough fighters and that includes Casimero, Jonas Sultan is not known for fighting big punchers he has a tough body and chin and he knows how to counterpunch, this is also a very important fight for Sultan, beating an up and coming fighter with a perfect knock out percentage is a great achievement.
It's a test for both fighters who deserve to advance in the bantamweight division.

Now, he'll be pitted against Caraballo, a technically sound and powerful southpaw who hasn't gone beyond five rounds thus far, in a bantamweight 10-rounder.

I'm just curious since this is a bantamweight match-up, how does these fighters rank compared to Inoue and Casimero?
I believe both are bantamweight champions. sorry, not so knowledgeable on the rules.

Looks like Sultan is being used as a stepping stone for some upcoming boxing sensation. I'm inclined that Sultan will lose this one but it would not be a knockout win for Caraballo because the latter will is a tough nut to crack and he got the advantage on fighting some current champions like Jerwin Ancajas and Casimero, in fact, he won against Johnriel Casimero almost four years ago.

I certainly bet on Caraballo, his record can be used as a reference, but on the other hand also that Jonas Sultan's agility cannot be underestimated. Look at the many things that have been discovered from Caraballo's career achievements, we were even impressed when he brought down Casimero. Carlos Caraballo is a well-known knock-out artist this may signify a very hard fight for Jonas Sultan, and looking at the good KO/TKO record on Caraballo I am pretty amazed at how he does it, And yes Jonas Sultan might have won against John Riel Casimero but it was a pretty close fight, but Casimero right now is an improved boxer that is qualified in making challenges against Naoya Inoue, but this fight really interest me in who's going to win I am pretty skeptic if Jonas Sultan could withstand that punching power of Carlos Caraballo, I really think it is much dangerous to fight Caraballo head-on in my opinion, Sultan might need his critical thinking in taking Caraballo, but Still I would like to support our fellow Pinoy boxer, but may still research some bits on how Caraballo fight and what is his fighting stance.

I looked for several sources to see how the two have differences and abilities that each have between Jonas Sultan and Caraballo. In terms of history, of course, here Caraballo demands that I be seeded with 14 wins with a knockout record. So of course this is a challenge for Jonas Sultan to be one step ahead. Moreover, being promoted by Manny, of course he also doesn't want to disappoint the Legendary. But in boxing or any fight the possibilities are always changing and not in a favorable condition for either side.

So in this debut, I will be happy to see the proof between the two. In the sector of Sultan himself when he defeated boxer Sharone Carter to move up to rank 9 in the World Boxing Association bantamweight contenders.. It would be very exciting if this went on fiercely.
