And I think when Sultan gets the first knockdown in the second round. Caraballo face chances and we can smell upset already. But it's weird that Sultan only got 1 point lead going into the judges scorecard. Maybe if not for that 4 knock down, maybe Caraballo will win.

this is what i was thinking also. if sultan didn't make those 4 knock downs, he won't emerge as winner. got my winnings but not much because i only bet small amount. now that caraballo got his first loss, will he ask for re-match? or get a break first.

I don't think there is a need for a rematch, as much as Caraballo has a good record, he was really outclassed by the more experience Sultan in this fight.

Sultan is really big in this fight, but it looks like the judges wanted to rob him of a win, was very obvious with the ridiculous score they gave. Clearly 7-3 in favor of Sultan with 4 knock down.

If they'll ask for a rematch, why not give them a rematch.

This was one of the best fights this year and if Sultan was not able to knock down Caraballo many times, he would have lost the fight as Caraballo is more accurate. Sultan is really strong, does not throw many punches but his power is felt by the weak chin of Caraballo.

Maybe not popular at all as he is not undefeated but he is more experienced and the basis is not only popularity if you choose a winner in a fight. Make sure you study their previous fights and Sultan being a more experienced fighter, I believe he is undervalued and those who bet on him see that potential, so they come up as a winner also.

Even Top Rank didn't expect this upset to happen, they just recently signed Caraballo to their promotional company thinking that the guy is a big crowd drawer in the future but the mistake they made was they matched Caraballo with a Filipino boxer. Caraballo's chin was exposed in this fight and i think his future opponent will make this one a target.

To be honest i wasn't even aware that this fight happens and i did not know both fighters before that fight because i am not that much into boxing and i don't usually watch the fights of the lower weight divisions, but i found the highlight reel of this fight today in my youtube recommendations and i was surprised about the punching power of Sultan. In the bantam division u usually see a series of very fast but not so strong punches and not that many knockdowns but sultan has some serious punching power and all of his knock downs were pretty much one punch out of nowhere..pretty impressive.

A narrow win of 94-93 points isn't a fight that was easy to decide but at the end of the day the victory was given to Jonas Sultan and in the game of sports victory must be declared. It was a close fight because Caraballo was able to stand up and continue to fight, he also have good rounds since he has good boxing skills compared to Sultan, but because he has a weak chin, that made him suffer from the hands of Sultan who are always willing to finish him, it's just unfortunate he cannot totally knock him out.

However, the judges might be a little obvious as the score was very close despite Sultan scores knockdowns, which tells me that though Sultan wins, boxing is still one of the corrupt sports in the world.

There will be a rematch if the match is close like a split decision where the fight could go either way or if in the contract there is a stipulation of  a rematch but this happens where the champion losses the title, the boxing community believe that Caraballo will win the match because he is a promising boxer you seldom see a boxer with that kind of record, but Sultan just break that record.

Unfortunately, I wasn't able to bet on the Zepeda win, for strange reasons, when I bet on the Jonas Sultan ML, the line on Zepeda wasn't there, or maybe I just have overlooked as I was excited to bet on Sultan a day before the fight (after the weigh-in).
