I have just seen on etherscan.io that they are trying to scam not only by the name of AKSWAP token but also they have tried to scam by the name of SCH which is already marked as spam. UNI-V2 and FF9.io also operated by the same person.

Airdrop is the new scam, they do it on Youtube, Twitter, and other social media sites using popular figures to scam people, they send their token to you, and without you asking them I have a lot of airdrops in one of my wallets that I'm actively using when you checked those airdrops they are associated on a website they have an internal exchange that interacts with metamask, if you are a very curious man and greedy you will fall into this scam, I also noticed many of these scam airdrops are using .io in their domain I received 8 different airdrops from these .io domains

I remember posting a warning about such scam tokens and airdrops ([Scam Alert] Beware of Airdrops that will drain tokens out of your address.)
Members ought to be very careful with the "free airdrops" or tokens, or else they may lose all the other tokens in the same addresses.

Here's another one, they sent it to your BSC address, there are over 3,915,453 addresses holding this token, people migh think it's legit because of the number of addresses holding the token but it's not.
There's already a warning in the explorer, it's a new way to scam people and that is to make the token looks legit through the number of holders and transactions.

thanks for all reports. I will try to find/pull down the most complete and updated list. Unfortunately this is a new kind of scam, also very easy/profitable.
Always avoid to connect in any "unknown" DAPP ... don't be fooled by the amount you can see in your wallet.
Like Minereum or KickIcoToken, despite tokens appears with an high value, you can't really trade/sell them.

You might be right but I don't think all the token/coin which is came/come from air drop will be scam or probable scam though scammer may use their scam technique for airdrop. But maximum airdrop token/coin is legit token or coin. Many people might be scammer but all the people are not scammer. Both are on same method.

I have 10 of these kinds of coins that I received through airdrops they are all the same ending with.IO domain and they have the same method on how to scam you they have an internal exchange I have not tried linking my metamask to these airdrops because I know that there's hidden agenda on these airdrops I don't expect that these airdrops that I did not participate in claiming are legit, glad that we have a sample of this kind of airdrop it will be a reference now.

Airdrop Scams becomes a Trendy method now. Scammers become smarter now. They use social media influencers and content creators. And funny thing is, influencers and content creators also get scammed by them. Scammers use ad networks to bring new people every day. Even, they use Google ads. Scammers like 1xBet use popular websites like Coinmarketcap to advertise. IDK if you guys noticed that. Coinmarketcap doesn't care about scam sites. Exchangers coins slowly but surely do gain. that's why people want to be early buyers of swap's Token. For example, BNB, CRO. CRO got a nice spike last week while the full market was in a Dip. No matter what Swaps it is. Most people don't research before trying these swaps. There are a few cheap Pre-Build Swap web scripts available on the market. That's why scammers can start a new scam swap in one day or two.
