As the market is volatile and very technical, does it take full time to become successful in trading? or can some trade part time and still make real profit from the market?
No, the truth is that what should be taken into account for this is the trading style that you have, if you are a short-term trader, obviously you have to be attentive to the chart you are trading all day, but if you are a Trader in the medium and long term, everything changes, the reason is simple, you only put your buy and sell orders until they are executed, the use of Stop Loss and "Take Profit" is infallible, and you only take profit or assume the loss, but you enjoy your life, moments that you need to spend with your loved ones, among other things.

There are platforms that allow trading by placing the "Stop Loss" and "Take profit" at the same time, this gives the security and confidence that the orders are safe.

I don't think a person needs to trade full time to be a successful trader. If you have a good idea about trading, it is enough to do one or two trades throughout your day. So I think for a person to learn trading successfully, he has to do market analysis. And only by doing market analysis can he get a good idea and he can be considered as a successful trader.

If you want to be a scalper or a day trader then obviously you have to trade almost full-time without any excuses, especially with 24-hour markets, you won't be able to find peace in anything else so eventually would stuck up all your time with the markets, but if you are a swing trader or a positional trader than obviously, things are different for you. You just buy some portion of a coin at a price then wait for it to go up as per your setup or you try to dollar cost average your position and try to hit the expected target, This way you can enjoy all other things in your life peacefully and at the same time, grow your money a bit slowly but at minimal risk.

Well, i don't consider being a part time trader may not be profitable and that only full time traders are. Full timer traders have all their chances to learn more in the market so they can acquire more profits.  But its never on the time actually because its more on the trading skills that a trader is able to develop. So even if you trade for a short time, you will still be able to succeed and make a decent income because you have your own special strategies in trading.

And being a full time trader without any other source of income is very risky. But if given a chance, of course i will choose to be a full time trader because the profits are definitely huge that can create a big change in our lives once the funds is well managed. Losses are always inevitable but if you are a good trader, then you will be able to overcome losses most of the time.

I am not a full-time trader, I have daily work, and investing in cryptocurrency is my side business. I am used to researching the market after dinner at night. I admire people who are full-time crypto investors who can always sit by their computers and keep an eye on the market. Everyone can choose to be full-time or as a side job. Because cryptocurrency can indeed bring great profits to people.

there are different types of trading not only full time and some can become succesful on them .
any profit that a traders earn is real but if what you mean by real profit is huge profit then a trader must allocate huge funds to pull that off easily .
market is volatile yes that is true but technical ? i think no not all times but a full time trader can benefit a lot if the market is highly volatile and it makes him more succesful than the other types of traders .

This is upon your ability and knowledge ..

If you are knowledgeable about market then you can leave everything in real life behind and just focus in full time trading since this can be consider as permanent skill and ability.

If you are only a by chance trader then best not to let alone in trading instead find things outside trading.

Like Holding funds , making real life business and also Working for monthly wages as assurance in real life.

In my perspective that depends on what you consider as success in the trading world? I mean if I am earning couple of bucks daily by doing so part time and consider this as my success then yeah I am successful. However this could be just spoonful of stuff for someone with bigger success dreams, who is always in adrenaline mode and wanna earn like crazy around 1-2K or more on daily basis. For that guy my trade is like awful but not for me. That is why I think success depends on how you perceive it really. However, there is very small group who trades whole 365 days and every minute of their time.

First of all it depends upon the trader's capital that how much he is going to invest and at which strategies he is following in order to trade , whether he is a day trader or he is trading for long term, these are two different type of trading. Which you can search at google, and after that it will depend upon the trader simply.

When I'm still new here in crypto i did tried trading and yeah Lucky that most of my trade brings me profit though not that big because i wanna be secure so if i reached 15% gain i will go out and find another coin to trade.
but this is not happening to everyone so maybe you'll gain today and lose tomorrow .
if you think that you can make money in this and enough to make a living then why not?after all this is a sole decision and the forum won't help you at any cost here.

You're right. At the end of the day, your decision to take full time or part time in trading will still be the one that matters. So If you have no other job and you think you can do more good in trading, then focusing in trading could give you more advantage and be more successful in the field. It might be more risky than just simply investing and holding while waiting to make profits but trading has more guarantee that the profits will be easier and faster. Just imagine that you are giving most of your time into trading so definitely you will gain more techniques and strategies in trading that will be very useful in making your trade more successful than those who are only doing part time trading.

In the crypto world, most people are not full-time traders. A full-time trader has to stare at the computer at all times. I can't do it for a few hours to watch the data. I am a long-term holder and I have a normal job. I will pay more attention to the cryptocurrency market during the weekend. I don’t think you need to be a full-time cryptocurrency trader to succeed. People who know investment and understand investment will succeed.

Being a part time or full-time trader is not what determines whether you’re going to be successful in crypto currency trading or not. Although full-time traders has a bit advantage in the fact that they will be dedicating more time to trading than those who have other jobs that they are doing and are trading part time. But, that's still not what’s going to determine whether you are going to be successful in crypto currency trading or not.

I have seen people who are trading part time and they still make out time to trade daily.  Yes it’s not going to be easy but you still have to do it. There’s nothing we do that is easy, there’s always difficulty in everything, you just have to overcome it.

I'm not seeing this as a way to measure in order to succeed. May time seems it matters a lot in trading as it was more advantageous when you spend a lot of time in the market in order to familiarize the situation and doing TA's as well but it still depends on how you manage yourself plus your knowledge and skills.

But if you are new to trading, I suggest sparing enough time in trading if you want to clearly understand the market. You don't think this was an easy game but much better not to underestimate this.

Full time trader is relative in Cryptocurrency market.  Someone may be chatting the bitcoin yet will not trade a dollar until the odds are in his favour.  Would you call such a person full time trader or part time trader? Trading abilities and skills plus the good understanding of market structure and happenings is what give any trader for that matter the likelihood of success!

Being a part time or full-time trader is not what determines whether you’re going to be successful in crypto currency trading or not. Although full-time traders has a bit advantage in the fact that they will be dedicating more time to trading than those who have other jobs that they are doing and are trading part time. There's an advantage for full time as they can see the widespread and each opportunity. Those who are into this business for quite some time who established their knowledge with this business, they are more on engaging with quality projects and have a good run when placing their investment.

In connection to that, with people who have that same knowledge who choose to use more quality time with other activities, they just set their target goals and with the help of stop-loss tools they will just let the system works for them, most of the time they also gain decently,

More on how knowledgeable you are and how you deal with your trading practices.

Another case we can relate this is, "Quit the regular/full-time job, just to become a full-time trader"
By doing full-time in trader, it's still a risk, depends too on how you are trading. We all know how risky trading is, that's why I suggest trying first to be a part-time trader only before doing it full time, if you find it profitable then having more time in trading will probably result in more profits.
This is the transition that most people make, it would be irresponsible to become a full time trader when you do not even know if you are going to become successful at it, so at the beginning people trade on their free time and only once they are 100% sure they can become profitable then they decide to make the jump and become full time traders, and even then I think many make this transition too quickly as you do not know how you are going to react to the huge levels of stress you will be subject from now on and which cause many people to eventually quit trading even if they are making money with it.

Fair enough to see day traders don't recommend short-term trading to new traders, long-term market movements cover the profit they get in day trading. Full-time trading is about to stare charts all day and keep analyzing the charts for hours, it doesn't worth if you have an alternative job. Swing trading is better than full-time trading and experience matters to choose which one is better for a person. Swing trading have a better advantages compared to day trading or long term trading over 2 years. It is good to find the perfect balance, IMO.

Just like doing two jobs at a time? It won't work always, there is one of them have to let go while keeping the other one. Now, if we consider ourselves to become a full-time trader then we have to focus on it and forgot the other as trading doesn't just work for an hour but hours. if we can spend more in the market, that was more important and this trading actually requires ample time to analyze the market trend so well, or else, we have no reason why we wanted to become a full-time trader.

Depending on the type of trader, is your trading pattern that will determine if you have to give it your total attention for example if you are a long term trader you don't really need a total attention before you buy a coin just do your research first then if is a good coin to buy at that particular price then you can buy and hold, If you are a medium trade you don't really need total attention but you have to give it more attention than long term trader, if you are a day trader its need total attention because you have to be checking the market constantly and if you are a Scalping you need to give it total attention to be successful because your trading is within minutes or seconds. So depending on you strategy that will determine if your trading needs total attention.
