There are some factors that influence a trader to be successful.
It is about consistency.
Consistency to learn and analyze the market, coins/tokens, and also the news.
Consistency to be good in the management of funds, emotions, and risks.
consistency in managing the time.
And more other consistency.
And if you are a full-time daily trader, if you are consistent, yeah you can be successful enough.
But if you are not consistent, for what you are spending lost of time?
You can be also successful in trading as long as you can maximize the time and moment.
You can be also very successful as a full-time trader if you also know what to do.

Fair enough to see day traders don't recommend short-term trading to new traders

It is because experience is more powerful than words and that's why day traders have been recommending that for newbies that they should not be into it at the first glance.
They can try as they wish but it's obviously that it's not going to be effective because it's hard to come up with strategies while you're a beginner and you've got to burn a lot of time on it and as well as money for your real test in trades.

Day trading is more stressful than long-term trading and that is why many will choose long-term as they could still make another job together. But if we are in Day trading, you may probably be facing almost the whole day in computer watching on the market, do analyze, and etc...If this will be the life we've chosen and happy with this that certainly, we need to accept that we need more time in trading than in our social life. Even having a little time to spend with the family. But if you have no job (especially this time) I think this was the best thing to do.

The time needed for trading can be set and adjust your free time. trading is not bound by time, crypto trading has a flexible time and can be done at any time.

Yes I agreed with you however trading need serious attention and concentration, cryptocurrencies are very volatile in their movement, a trader need to monitor a trade most times the price might not reach the projected Take profit before reversal in such situation a trader who sit and monitor charts may decide to close such a trade with little profits however a trader who trade part time basis might not be on sit when the price reverse to hit stop loss, this is a real situation I had personally experience especially if the trader didn't put a stop loss on a trade.

Specific profit that you do have in mind will really be having corresponding amount of capital and its no use that you would really be making out profits with lesser capital because fees would definitely eat it up.
