I returned a £420 drone to Amazon via their drop box service. At some point one of their staff has replaced it with a box of car shampoo, and they are refusing to issue a refund. They are also implying that I am attempting to defraud them, and I resent that. I have never bought or owned car shampoo, and I have never even had a hairy car. I am about to issue a Visa chargeback, and I wondered if any of the members here have had a similar experience.

In a world of coins, use them.

Any updates on this? I used to do refund fraud through Amazon and they would issue me refunds without even making me send back the specified item, so I find it unfortunate that they won't even refund you when you send the original item back.

I applied to Visa for a refund, and they granted it subject to a 30 day appeal by Amazon. Amazon didn't contact me or Visa, so I got all my money back. I own the domain Blags.com and I put Drupal on the site, and I was going to have a go at Amazon in a report on it. I didn't appreciate being accused of trying to defraud them. However, they haven't deleted my account, and I'm wondering if I should walk away from it. I really have got a lot on at the moment, and I want to become a full time digital nomad. Amazon referrals seem to be a major income source for many people, and I'm wondering if I should compromise my morality by becoming an affiliate.
