The idea that scammers earn money with bitcoin is just utter hogwash.  Criminals will find ways to scam using any means of value they can.
The reason you’re hearing about scammers using bitcoin now is just a testament to how many people are waking up to the value of Bitcoin rising in popularity.
Bitcoin is just a currency that is scapegoated by those who do not understand what this currency really is. All valuable asset will suffer the same and this is just an option used by scammers to profit from asset that have value. I think those people have the wrong understanding about bitcoin all along if they think bitcoin has scammed them because of ponzi investment and other scams.

This is very true. Scammers will always find ways to deceive people and will use what is known to be perceived of value or the interest of the public at present, in this case, Bitcoin. Bitcoin is just a tool and bait scammers used to let people fall into their traps. Nonetheless, it is simply ponzi scheme.
Scamming has been so rampant these days as there are more newbies enter into the market day by day. Because i believe no one would try to scam unless they see opportunities to scam. Newbies fall mostly as victims because their knowledge is not enough and they easily believe that bitcoin can make you instantly rich even without the efforts to take. So that is why bitcoin has been used mostly as a tool in scamming people. And scammers will even use some big companies' names so that scamming will become more likely legit and reliable from the eyes of the victims.

I think those people have the wrong understanding about bitcoin all along if they think bitcoin has scammed them because of ponzi investment and other scams.

Scammers are always smart to use anything of value and popularity to commit fraud, including utilizing Bitcoin which is indeed increasing in popularity.
Moreover, it must be admitted that there are still very many people who do not understand Bitcoin properly, this is what scammers eventually use to
try to find loopholes by running a ponzi scheme. Especially newbies who lack knowledge are very vulnerable to being victims of fraud.
So don't immediately accuse Bitcoin of being a scam if there are reports that say investors lost money after making a deposit on certain platforms.
It is purely the fault of investors who are not careful in choosing platforms for investment, and still think Bitcoin can provide huge profits instantly.
The conclusion is to avoid fraud in the crypto world, study the crypto world correctly, because having knowledge will allow us to know how the crypto
world works.

I am new to bitcoin and come from a third world country. One of my friend told me a company came telling all to invest 150 USD in an scheme and then they can earn daily about 6-7 USD regularly by watching ads for the rest of their life. My friend earned 6-7 USD everyday by watching an ad of 8 minutes. He got paid instantly and also told me about the Binance mobile app. This worked for almost 1.5 months. Then the company disappeared. Those who invested lately couldnt get their money. I want to know how this process works. How is this related to bitcoin and how can one earn just by watching ads ?
It is more like PTC (Pay to click) sites which already knew by a lot of people that they are not really earning by watching ads or maybe something else, but what they get is money from people who deposit after him. There are some sites that we must really aware with it.
1. Cloud mining which only ask us to deposit and get earning certain percentage everyday/hour.
2. Sites who offer us to double our money only with deposit
3. Pay to click sites which ask us to buy ads to watch or maybe click and we get earning with that.

It’s all about tactics, scammers are only able to make money through those that they can fool. So, that’s why you have to be careful, when you see anything that seems too good to be true you have to avoid it. There are so many methods that are being used by scammers to fool people and take their money. just like the one that told your friend to invest $150 and been watching advert to be earning daily, may looking at that he should know that it is a scam and not real.

Instead of you to fall for all these things, it is best that you get a job and focus on it than looking for ways to make money quick so that you become rich all of a sudden. Sometimes scammers are not only after your money, they can steal your Personal information and use it to do whatever they want or even sell it on the dark web.

Scam companies take advantage of the biggest advantage of blockchain, that is, the anonymity is very concealed. No one can query the other party's information through records. This makes the fraud companies very rampant. They use Ponzi schemes to attract funds and finally run away. One person can find out who started the scam, and the only thing we can do is refuse to trust the person who collects our currency!
