This would certainly be a great solution if you can so easily force yourself to give up thoughts of gambling before it turns into obsessions.  We do not know what the state of OP is, who, by the way, as he writes, is only 14 years old.  This is of course a dangerous age, but the good news is that he himself realizes that he can become a victim of his passion.  This is already a good sign that he will cope.  And more about blocking an account, even a cryptocurrency wallet - this is also a good way, but a responsible adult parent must be connected here - father, mother, older brother ... of this boy.

Your damn 14 and you're thinking of gambling all day? Hot dang kid, you're quite the crazy one. I'd suggest continuing it until you lose interest really. I'd reckon it wouldn't be a full lose of interest, but at the very least, the notion of experiencing something new would disappear and you could manage yourself better later on. That is ofc, considering that the money you are using is actually money you earned or saved up. I won't question it even if it was money you saved up from not spending for school stuff and other stuff, just that, don't resort to stealing kay? I won't tell you to quit, it's up to you really, if you judge that it's becoming unhealthy then stop, but if you're quite responsible with it then I'd opt to continue instead.

We are on the same age when I started gambling. It was really fun, right? It gives you excitement and adrenaline whenever you look at your bet going near for a win. That's normal but it has to stop at some point.
There will be a time when you will be unlucky and lose more even though you say you just "split even" every night and day.
And when that time comes you will look for money to satisfy the urge to gamble. Where would you go? Loans? Criminal activities? Stealing?
At that part, it won't be an exciting moment anymore. Stop as early as you can, wait for your mind to mature and you can think clearly.

Lucky for you, you haven't lost yet. But, sooner or later you'll do. The thing in gambling is that you can easily enter it, anyone can easily have access to it. A minimal amount is enough to start your way in a ride to the excitement, fun, Greed, addiction and etc.

Having thought on or daydreaming about you playing or gambling is one of the early stages of addiction to be honest (been there done that), and hell you're 14 same as when I started playing poker  

Make an effort on quitting? Nah, we can't actually or totally quit on it but you can control it. It's much better to make an effort to control the thirst, in that way you could get away on it slowly. All gamblers even though they say they're quitting, on the back of our heads, we still think of it or look for it. But as soon as you have control over it, you can be a responsible gambler. Let's make it clear here responsible gambling is not nor linked to gambling addiction, it's much more of mature thinking and being practical at some point.

If you have started gambling for entertainment purposes then why you are bothering about your profits and losses. This is not your unique mistake, this is what exactly all the gamblers do in their beginning days. You may get into gambling for any reason but after some period of persistent gambling, almost all the gamblers are in same dilemma.

101% you must take steps to quit your gambling right away. Gambling at under age definitely an offence and you must not look for any excuses for the same. So, immediately you must stop your gambling by engaging yourself with your friends and family to suppress any of your gambling thoughts.

That's the problem with school, it failed to engage students, it's boring, and we thought it's useless. At that age, I was heavily addicted to video games, not gambling, since I don't have money. I think OP also addicted to video games, mainly fun activities, not about making money.

Well, gamble 1 sat is just as bad as playing video games IMO. OP, you should find your passion, it's okay if school is not for you if you can cook, draw good designs, repair roofs, etc., BUT if your passion involves higher education (doctor, scientist, etc.) You better man up, stop playing, and start studying.

I think it's good that this kid is aware that gambling can put him in trouble if he loses too much, when you are aware of the things around you have more chances to do the right things... so I don't think he should be worried too much, he can just change his focus on some other fun things around for a while and he will be just fine!

Way back then too on my teenage days, I was able to spend so many nights but not with gambling and just as you, with the normal games. Well, computer games were already there and those were countless sleepless nights when I've spent during those years.

On this matter, it is alarming that OP is having the signs since it's with gambling and there's money involve and if it goes on, there could be a harmful recoil that will truly badly affect him. this reminds me of an MMORPG(ran online) I got addicted to when I was in my high school days. I would constantly think about buying lottery boxes to try my luck of getting rare items that can be sold for a lot of in-game gold. It even came to a point where I would dream about getting great items on the lottery box. at the time I never really considered buying lottery boxes as gambling but now that I am an adult, lottery boxes are definitely gambling no matter which game it is from. anyway, I am not sure how I got over about thinking so much about the lottery boxes but I am glad I did.

CSGO is definitely one of the gateways to problem gambling.

I'd say that you have to realize that the road ahead is still long. Learn about how to invest for the long term instead of trying to make multiple thousand percent trades/bets in one day. Understand that wealth creation is not an overnight thing and a lot of that is due to the survivorship bias created by media.

You definitely need to make an effort now before it's too late to quit/you run into deep financial issues.

I also had trouble about gambling during my teenage years because, to be honest, it's hard to make firm decisions when you're younger but the only advice that I would give you is to value the funds that you have and think of the consequences that might happen if you'll lose a lot. Make sure that you won't regret things in the end. It's fine to do experimentations sometimes but it shouldn't exceed the funds that we could only lose.

I think telling family members and closest friends about it is the best, especially telling family members like mum and dad will help if they are understanding kind of person, these are the people that can help. Also if having wife, there is nothing bad to let her know if in a gambling addiction time, she will try her possible best.

Gathering all of them and telling the truth can help him release the stress, although when all of his family members know about his addiction, they can become angry with him. But that is still worth doing because his family finally will accept the situation and together can search for the way to solve the problem.

If the person is using credit card to fund his account, he should just destroy the credit card, it can inconvenient the person but it can help, I have done this before and it helped. If I want to withdraw, I transfer the money to my mother's account to use, no credit card for me to fund my gambling account. But about crypto gambling sites, it can be difficult because of the ease to transfer coins to  gambling accounts, but maybe your method can then work.

At a young age, his gambling addiction will surely put him in danger because his addiction can possess him to play gambling without stopping. So your gambling problem is basically you are addicted to gambling and now find hard to get away from it. The best you can do is to stop yourself from visiting the gambling site and stop depositing more money in the gambling sites. Although it may be difficult for few days but then you will find interest in other activities and eventually your gambling addiction will end.

18 is mature enough, I think OP needs to go for a therapy because it's hard to control your urges, it's unlikely that OP can control himself, you're saying he's young so that means that emotions are running high.
