Booming gaming platforms, is it just a moment?

As we all know, blockchain-based gaming is currently booming.  Not even a few have felt a big income from playing the blockchain-based game.  My personal question is, is it just a momentary phenomenon?  And among the many gaming tokens, which one is worth a long-term investment?  Please friends share your opinion here, hopefully it can add insight.  Especially for those of us who are still beginners in the crypto world

Blockchain games are currently growing and almost becoming a new trend in the crypto community, I've come across many of them and out of curiosity, I invested in one by the name "Death Road", from my own perspective, it's a cool project, and from what am feeling, I think the project will stand the test of time, though I don't intend anyone take this as an investment advice.

My conclusion is, blockchain games are super cool, if the industry is well developed and managed, it's has the potential to take over the traditional gaming industry where gamers spend their money on games and earn nothing back, atleast, with blockchain games, gamers spend money on weapons and other game accessories and can earn the money spent back and even more depending on how committed they are to winning fights or races in the game.

It is very certain that this is part of the development of the times, so many things are available for people to play the game, basically the game is starting to be upgraded from just an ordinary game to a game that makes money, many games have now been adopted to become more interesting, even many people are starting to play seriously now, instead of playing as a hobby but can also make money in these games.

Plus, now there are more choices of types of games that we can play.  And not a few developers are very serious about developing their platform, so it feels like we are being pampered

Indeed, true that at this point of time NFT gaming so far are very trend,there are many of them recently arise here in cryptocurrency business industry. but the majority of them didn't remain stable in the market, that is why you need to become more observant or sensitive. And the only gaming platform that is good to me are Dragonary and Axie Infinity so far.

Not all maintain the stability as most are now fading, not sure if they are just moving according to this current fall or they already done with the hypes. So far, the two that you mentioned are still alive and still surviving. Even the rewards are no longer the same but still providing some good amount if you do enjoy the game.

It's tough to say if there's another run for gaming platforms which created inside blockchain. It will rely on how investors from these sectors will continue or they will find other venues for their investment.

That's right, I've even heard stories from my friends.  That there are people who are willing to leave their jobs, because they want the totality of playing the game play to earn, which is said to have a higher income than their salary while still working

yes it will last a long time if it continues to be developed by the owner of the platform !!!.
I think this is an opportunity to earn money playing games with the availability of platforms that can make money in a game.
when viewed from the number of game communities formed, this is a sign that in the future every game that can make money will continue to be sought after by gamers, therefore I think the Blockchain gaming platform will last longer

If you look at the extraordinary growth rate of blockchain game users or play to earn, I believe, in the long term it will surpass conventional game users

People nowadays are enjoying the community of Play to earn games and this is how crypto(specially NFT) see the opportunity to do business.

I'm not sure if this will stay long but what I knew is that gaming is increasing nowadays .

and more and more players are entering the scene now.

I am not happy with what is happening in the market of gaming platforms. The complete lack of graphics that can be compared with the one that was in the games of the mid-90s of the last century. There is no such attraction in these games, which the Playstation provides us with) The whole point of these games is that you need to buy certain goods for fiat in order to get a bigger profit.

There is a difference between today's games and mid 90's games, there are distinct advantages of each available game, the appeal of the game is based on hobbies for everyone who plays, nowadays many games have to buy equipment using fiat money, to support the game become more attractive and superior, I think it's natural that with the current development of games, people are required to pay money to enjoy playing these games.

Gaming industry had been in "boom" when high-end smartphones was created and when android applications came out. Game creators found another chance to redeem themselves because it will easier this way rather than making a full PC applications that will take a lot of time.
With blockchains help they can even stretch the possibilities and can even offer rewards in game that will be appealing to their audience.
It just got bigger this year thanks to cryptocurrencies.

I hope so, because as we all know.  There are some conventional game developers who are starting to get involved in blockchain game development, and they are big players on conventional gaming platforms

Yeah, that was 2 months ago where NFT games under blockchain is no doubt boomed in the market, and this is where the opportunist
or scammer took an advantage of it too. That is why being careful and wise in choosing the legit one is very necessary to all community
here in the forum so that in the end they won't be a victim by the scammer.

if you are referring to NFT play to earn games then i must agreed that these are momentary , it's just happen that the games they are offering is in demand but do they have product?
just a playing and earning is what they do and i don't think it is really that in demand for long term.
i will give it at least another year in 2022 to declare if they are truly here or will be gone like what happened in the past.

I do not tend to buy now. This is madness. But as a person who bought at 2 and sold at 20, I am very surprised. You never know what will happen, this is a very addicting and wonderful game.

The price is too high for now. Perhaps, you should wait for more to see the price will go down to a lower price. If that person bought at 2 and sold at 20, that is a big profit for him. But booming in gaming platforms will continue but not too popular like before. There are those gaming nft platforms that are very common these days. They use their governance token to improve your characters inside the game.
You only need to farm that inside the game and grind it many times before you reach the minimum amount and as well as you can buy that in exchanges where it's supported.

The game developers have figured to use blockchain than full PC application, a major shift for the industry and they are not going to be found in the torrent/file sharing sites anymore.

The blockchain games before these play to earn and NFTs games didn't make it though. You can see that the marketing of these games still plays out in making the project successful. Old games like the Reality Clash or the Crypto Dynasty which I think have been around for more than 2 years actaully didn't make it. I'm not sure if you have heard of these games but the newer projects of NFTs have gotten more success than these two.  And I can agree that the games today are not actually graphic-rich but still has tokens of good value.

I used to play online games without graphic-rich, LOL, that was like 15-20 years ago.

But times have change, yes, I agree that there are games like Reality Clash who has a lot of hype but didn't make it, unfortunately as at that time blockchain base game is still in the nascent stage that's why it didn't get any support. But it has evolved already, now players earn tokens and can make money out of it, which is the motivation that's why games are now very successful.

I think so too, with more and more types of blockchain games, where we can earn money by playing them.  Finally able to motivate many people to try it, even what I know, not a few people who used to play conventional games, finally switched to playing blockchain games

Well, if I understood correctly, you think that there are no prospects in such projects? The era of gaming platforms ended on AXS?

I don't say it is no prospects. The gaming platforms will continue but the popularity can reduce until there is a new development in the gaming platforms that can attract the people's attention back to the gaming industry. The AXS can still exist on the crypto market but I don't know if the performance can be like before. You should remember that nothing can last forever and that will replace with something new.

Looks late and the prices are getting higher due to the high price of Ethereum and its native token AXS.
